The Emeet Pixy is a 4K webcam with a motorized gimbal, subject tracking and a built-in microphone. The assigned headline price is $85, but PC Gamer’s matching deal article reported it at $89.99 on Amazon on May 13, 2026—not $85. Neither figure confirms today’s live price, so check the listing before buying. At the reported deal price, it may suit presenters who move around on camera; for a fixed desk setup, its tracking and 4K output may matter less than its bulk and image rendering.
What was the Emeet Pixy deal?
PC Gamer’s May 13, 2026 deal article reported the Pixy for $89.99 at Amazon, describing it as a $70 saving against $159.99. The article said the base price had recently dropped from $159.99 to $99.99 before an additional $10 discount. Those are historical prices from that report, not a verified current offer. The assigned title says $85; the located article says $89.99, so treat either as a price to verify rather than a live quote. PC Gamer’s deal article
What does the Pixy offer?
The deal article lists a Sony 1/2.55-inch sensor, a 73° field of view and USB Type-C. Its headline video modes are 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second and 1920 × 1080 at 60 fps. PC Gamer’s 2025 review also lists 1280 × 720 at 60 fps and 640 × 480 at 30 fps. The reviewer describes a two-camera arrangement: a 4K imaging camera and an AI-assisted camera used for targeting and focus. PC Gamer’s deal article; PC Gamer’s Emeet Pixy review

1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute4K is not automatically an advantage on a call. The 2025 review notes that some conferencing software does not support 4K and some services restrict it. Check that your specific calling, capture or streaming app supports the resolution and frame rate you intend to use. If it does not, the Pixy’s 1080p/60 fps mode may be more relevant than its 4K/30 fps mode.

Designed with stability, the PC camera boasts a robust swivel connection between the lens and its stand, uses an internal rubber material that grips securely to computer, and firmly integrates into the device with a 1.5m fixed cable.
Is the gimbal useful for your setup?
The Pixy’s motorized gimbal can follow a moving subject, including through gesture-based activation. In his 2025 review, James Bentley found tracking responsive and reported reliable whiteboard tracking while presenting. That makes the moving camera more useful for a presenter who walks, gestures or turns to a whiteboard than for someone who stays seated at a fixed desk. The review’s observations describe one reviewer’s use, not a controlled tracking test. PC Gamer’s Emeet Pixy review
You can set it on the included monitor stand or use the bottom tripod thread to attach it to a tripod. The review describes the webcam as bulky, so consider desk space and how you plan to mount it before buying.

How does the image and microphone perform?
PC Gamer gave the Pixy a score of 82 in its 2025 review. Bentley found its autofocus and targeting roughly as accurate as the OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite in his comparison, but preferred the Tiny 2 Lite’s more neutral-looking image. He described the Pixy’s footage as more saturated and washed out, while noting that it showed beard and hair detail distinctly. These are the reviewer’s impressions from side-by-side use, not lab measurements. PC Gamer’s Emeet Pixy review
The review’s pros included easy setup and a surprisingly solid microphone for a quick meeting. That makes the built-in mic convenient for routine calls, though buyers who prioritize audio quality may still prefer a separate microphone. The review’s drawbacks included a tendency toward overexposure and the fact that many users do not need 4K.

What should you know about privacy and software?
The Pixy does not have a physical privacy shutter or filter. PC Gamer says you can tilt the camera down or enable privacy mode through software. If you want a visible, physical barrier between calls, that omission is worth weighing before purchase. The reviewer also found the script-generation feature awkward and its output weak; the practical advice from that review is to use the Pixy as a webcam and disregard that feature. PC Gamer’s Emeet Pixy review
Should you buy it instead of an OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite?
The available comparison is tied to PC Gamer’s 2025 review context, not a current market ranking. Bentley preferred the Tiny 2 Lite’s more natural image and smaller frame, while the later Pixy deal article presented the Emeet as a value pick at its reported sale price. Compare the points that matter to your setup rather than treating either review-era judgment as a universal winner. PC Gamer’s OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite review; PC Gamer’s deal article
- Image: Bentley preferred the Tiny 2 Lite’s more neutral rendering in his side-by-side use.
- Movement: The Pixy’s gimbal tracking is especially relevant if you present while moving or use a whiteboard.
- Size and setup: The Pixy was described as bulky; check which camera better fits your desk or mounting plan.
- Price and privacy: Check current prices and compare each model’s privacy controls before deciding. The cited Pixy review notes the lack of a physical shutter.
Who is the Emeet Pixy best for?
Consider it if you want a moving, tracking webcam for presentations, value a convenient built-in mic for ordinary meetings, and have an app that can use the video modes you need. A fixed-position caller may get less value from the gimbal, while anyone who requires a physical privacy shutter or strongly prefers a neutral image should factor those trade-offs into the choice. Before ordering, verify the live price, stock, and compatibility with your operating system and intended apps; those details have not been established by the cited reviews.
