The Electrolux SilentPerformer ESP7GREEN is a bagged canister vacuum with a manufacturer-stated 12 m cleaning reach, 4.5 kg cleaner-only weight and adjustable power. Electrolux Australia lists a 700 W maximum rating, E201S bags and a Dust Magnet Silent floor nozzle. Those published specifications make it possible to judge its fit for a home, but the available evidence does not establish its real-world pickup, noise level, filtration performance or long-term reliability through independent testing.
What the ESP7GREEN is—and what the published specs tell you
Electrolux Australia markets this model as the “SilentPerformer Bagged Green – Recycled Black.” It is a mains-powered, bagged canister vacuum. Its listed maximum and nominal wattages are separate figures; neither is a direct measure of suction or cleaning effectiveness.
| Specification | Electrolux Australia listing |
|---|---|
| Maximum wattage | 700 W |
| Nominal wattage | 550 W |
| Voltage | 220–240 V |
| Cleaning reach | 12 m |
| Cleaner-only weight | 4.5 kg |
| Dustbag capacity | 3.5 L |
| Cleaner-only dimensions | 293 × 441 × 238 mm |
| Hose diameter | 32 mm |
| Power control | Adjustable |
| Warranty | Two years, as listed on Electrolux Australia’s product page |
These are manufacturer-published specifications; the Australia fact sheet does not state a publication date. The 12 m reach and cleaner-only weight are useful for comparing layouts and portability, but compare weight on the same basis across models: a cleaner-only figure is not the weight of the full hose-and-tool setup. Electrolux Australia’s ESP7GREEN product page and its fact sheet are the references for the Australian specifications.
Will it suit your floors?
Hard floors and ordinary mixed-floor use
The Australian fact sheet names a Dust Magnet Silent main nozzle and lists crevice and upholstery accessories, but marks a dedicated hard-floor nozzle as not applicable. The listing does not establish how well the main nozzle cleans any particular floor type. If you want a separate parquet brush, check the exact local bundle rather than assuming it comes with every ESP7GREEN.
#1 Best Overall
- POWERFUL SUCTION FOR CARPET & HARD FLOORS: Clean carpets and hardwood floors with strong multi-surface suction. This lightweight upright vacuum cleaner lifts dirt, debris, and pet hair for a complete home clean.
- LIFT-AWAY FUNCTIONALITY FOR ABOVE-FLOOR CLEANING: Detach the pod to clean stairs, furniture, and more—attach the upholstery or crevice tools to clean dust and debris from baseboards, curtains, blinds, tight spaces and other surfaces.
- PERFECT FOR PET HAIR CLEANUP: Powerful suction and a specialized upholstery tool removes pet hair from carpets, furniture, and stairs with ease—ideal for homes with pets and everyday messes.
- HEPA FILTER WITH ANTI-ALLERGEN COMPLETE SEAL: Advanced HEPA vacuum technology traps dust and allergens* inside the vacuum, helping deliver a cleaner home environment. *Allergens refer to non-living matter.
- SWIVEL STEERING FOR EASY MANEUVERABILITY: Navigate tight spaces, corners, and around furniture with ease using smooth swivel steering for effortless control across floors.
Persian rugs and other deep pile
A 2022 Reddit post describes an ESP7GREEN owner having trouble pushing the included head on a Persian rug. That single owner report is a useful prompt to check head suitability, but it cannot show how the vacuum performs across rugs or users. If your home has deep-pile or delicate rugs, confirm the included nozzle and whether its suction can be adjusted before buying. The Australian listing specifies adjustable power, but it does not provide a tested rug-performance result. Read the owner discussion.
Are the ESP7GREEN’s noise and filtration claims proven?
Electrolux Australia describes a “noise minimising motor” paired with the Dust Magnet Silent nozzle as providing “a quieter clean.” That is the manufacturer’s characterization, not evidence of a comparative noise test. The current Australian product listing does not state a noise rating. An older Electrolux Switzerland catalogue, circa 2018, lists 70 dB(A); that figure is regional and dated, and should not be treated as a current Australian measurement or compared with other vacuums unless measurement conditions are aligned. See the older Swiss catalogue.

- POWERFUL UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER: DuoClean PowerFins Technology combines two brushrolls—a PowerFins and soft roller—for nonstop contact to deep clean carpets and area rugs, directly engage hard floors, and pick up more debris in every pass (vs. original DuoClean)
- LIFT-AWAY ABOVE-FLOOR CLEANING: Step on the easy-release pedal to detach the lightweight Lift-Away pod for portable cleaning on stairs, furniture, baseboards, ceilings, and other above-floor areas
- SELF-CLEANING BRUSHROLL: Delivers powerful pet hair pickup with no hair wrap, continuously removing hair from the brushroll as you clean carpets and hard floors—ideal for homes with pets
- HEPA FILTRATION & ANTI-ALLERGEN SEAL: The HEPA filter and Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology trap 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum cleaner for whole-home cleaning—great for allergy-prone households
- PERFECT FOR PETS: The Pet Power Brush tackles stubborn pet hair on stairs and upholstery, while the Upholstery Tool removes embedded hair and debris from furniture and other fabric surfaces
Electrolux Australia also says the washable hygiene filter captures up to 99.5% of dust. The product materials do not provide an independent test protocol for that figure, so treat it as a manufacturer claim rather than a verified measure of whole-vacuum filtration. No independent pickup, noise, filtration or durability results are established in the available evidence.
What comes in the box depends on the market and PNC
Accessories are not consistent across the regional descriptions. Australia’s fact sheet lists the Dust Magnet Silent nozzle, crevice and upholstery accessories, and telescopic tube; it does not list a dedicated hard-floor nozzle. Electrolux Italy’s model page describes a parquet brush, Dust Magnet Silent combination nozzle, 3-in-1 dusting/crevice/upholstery tool and Hygiene Filter 12. Those differences show why the model name alone is not enough to confirm a particular unit’s contents.

- POWERFUL SUCTION. Dirt, fur & dust don’t stand a chance against the Pet Hair Eraser Allergen Lift-Off vacuum’s suction power.
- LIFT-OFF DETACHABLE POD. Conveniently clean anywhere in your home, even hard-to-reach areas, with the lightweight canister and quick-release extension wand.
- HEPA SEALED ALLERGEN SYSTEM. This vacuum captures dust allergens inside the vacuum so they don’t escape back into the air you breathe.
- TANGLE-FREE BRUSH ROLL. Cut the hassle, not the hair. This vacuum is designed to handle hair and fur.
- SCATTER-FREE TECHNOLOGY. Vacuuming hard floors shouldn't be a headache. Strong suction and scatter-free technology makes cleaning a breeze.
Check the local product listing and the machine’s 11-digit PNC—the product number on its rating plate—before ordering tools or filters. Electrolux’s Italy model page lists PNC variants 90094046600, 90040101300, 90094046700 and 90025842500. The model-specific Australia manual and support lookup is another place to check local documentation.
Bags, filters and replacement parts
| Part | Australian model reference | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Dustbag | E201S (s-bag), 3.5 L capacity; Menalux 1800 is also referenced on the fact sheet | Confirm the exact bag and model compatibility before purchase. |
| Motor filter | GSK1 | Electrolux Australia lists ESP7GREEN compatibility, but the GSK1 page says the kit is discontinued. Check present stock and the exact product number. |
| Exhaust filter | EFH12W, described by Electrolux Australia as HEPA 12 | Confirm compatibility using the PNC on your appliance. |
Electrolux’s Australian GSK1 Green Starter Kit page carries the discontinued notice, so compatibility does not guarantee current availability. For any bag, filter or accessory, use the PNC to check the part listing rather than relying on the ESP7GREEN family name alone.

What does “Green” mean on this Australian model?
Electrolux Australia says the ESP7GREEN is made with 60% recycled plastic. That is a manufacturer-reported figure for its Australian listing; it is not an independently verified lifecycle assessment. Regional pages report different percentages: Electrolux Italy describes recyclable materials up to 92%, while Electrolux Sweden says 65% recycled plastic. These figures use differing regional descriptions and should not be treated as a single globally consistent specification.
How to assess it against another canister vacuum
- Ownership routine: The ESP7GREEN uses replaceable E201S bags. A bagless model avoids replacement bags but has a different emptying and filter-maintenance routine.
- Reach and weight: Compare its 12 m reach and 4.5 kg cleaner-only weight with competitors whose figures use the same measurement basis.
- Floor tools: Compare the actual locally supplied nozzle and any parquet or hard-floor tool, not just the shared model-family name.
- Noise: The 70 dB(A) figure comes from an older Swiss catalogue; compare noise only when the test standards and conditions match.
- Environmental claims: Compare recycled-content disclosures only when the market, model variant and definition are comparable.
- Evidence quality: Published specifications and manufacturer claims do not substitute for independent pickup, filtration or durability testing.
Is the Electrolux SilentPerformer ESP7GREEN worth considering?
It is a plausible option if you want a bagged canister with adjustable power, a stated 12 m reach and locally available E201S bags. Its published specifications give you concrete points for comparison, but they do not settle how well it handles your rugs, how quiet it sounds in your home or how it will hold up. Verify your exact PNC, included tools and replacement-part availability—especially for the GSK1 kit—before making a decision. Electrolux’s product page displays one review, and the single surfaced rug discussion is anecdotal; neither is enough to support a general reliability or performance verdict.
