Electrolux’s official materials describe its features, but do not provide independent tests of pet-hair pickup or cleaning performance. What is the Electrolux Pure C9 Animal PC91-ANIM?
It is a bagless canister vacuum in Electrolux’s Pure C9 range. Model names and configurations differ across markets: Electrolux France lists PC91-ANIMA, product code 900258444; an Australian fact sheet identifies PC91-ANIMA, PNC 900279203; and Electrolux Australia’s current product page lists PC91ANIMAT as replacing PC91-ANIMA. Check the rating label and local PNC when identifying an existing unit or ordering parts. The Australian product page’s description contains an inconsistent “Pure F9 Animal” phrase, so its page title and model identification are the more reliable identifiers for the Pure C9 listing. Is it good for pet hair?
Electrolux markets this as an Animal model and lists pet-related tools, but the official sources available here do not include independent tests or hands-on results for pet hair, carpets or hard floors. The name and accessories alone cannot establish how well it picks up fur, whether it resists tangles, or how it performs on a particular carpet. If pet-hair pickup is decisive, look for independent testing on the same floor types and compare the exact regional package rather than relying on the Animal label.
Pet tools vary by market
The Australian PC91-ANIMA fact sheet lists an AeroPro Turbo nozzle and a 3-in-1 accessory. The French PC91-ANIMA listing names a FlowMotion LED floor brush and describes a mini turbo brush and upholstery brush among the included tools. These are market-specific configurations, not a guaranteed universal kit. Ask the seller to confirm the included nozzles for the exact listing.

Electrolux publishes different bin capacities for the two regional listings. Those figures describe the versions in those sources; they should not be treated as a single universal specification.

What comes with the Electrolux Pure C9 Animal?
Electrolux’s listed package contents differ by market. The Australian fact sheet names an AeroPro Turbo nozzle and 3-in-1 accessory; the French listing names a FlowMotion LED floor brush and describes mini turbo and upholstery brushes. Verify the seller’s included-accessory list for the precise regional model before purchase, especially if you need a turbo tool for upholstery or a particular floor head.
What the listed specifications do—and do not—tell you
Electrolux describes the Australian vacuum as having tight seals throughout the system “to minimise loss of suction whilst maximising filtration.” That is the manufacturer’s explanation of the design, not an independent finding about sustained suction, filtration effectiveness in use, or cleaning results.

The published reach, weight and controls can help assess whether the canister format suits your home, but they do not establish maneuverability, ease of emptying, noise in your room, durability, or real-world pickup. The Australian fact sheet identifies the appliance as bagless, so buyers should also consider whether they are comfortable emptying a dust container rather than replacing bags.

For Australia and New Zealand, the fact sheet states a 24-month manufacturing-defect warranty after original purchase for domestic use and three months for commercial use.
