Consider the M-368X for suspension and wider tires
The M-368X is the more natural candidate if your regular routes include rougher paths and you value the comfort-oriented design Addmotor describes. Its ultra-low frame, adjustable seat and handlebars, dual suspension, and 20 × 4.0-inch tires are relevant features to assess in person. The product page’s customer Q&A also says the seat slides forward and backward and the backrest angle adjusts. These details may help with fit, but they do not establish that the trike will suit a particular rider.

Addmotor describes the E-361 as tuned for urban conditions, with narrower tires than the M-368X. The manufacturer’s August 21, 2026 announcement also lists anti-tip support wheels, a rear differential, reflective tire strips, and an upgraded rear light. These are described features, not proof that the trike prevents accidents or is safer in every situation.

Check personal fit and safe handling before choosing

- Mounting and transfer: Can you get on and off the specific frame without strain or instability?

- Rider and cargo limits: Does the confirmed capacity cover the rider and usual load? Ask Addmotor to explain the E-361’s “350+100 LBS” notation.
- Ongoing care: Decide who will charge and inspect the trike, and check whether service and replacement parts are available locally.
If balance, strength, vision, or mobility concerns could affect riding, arrange an in-person fit and, where possible, a supervised test ride before purchase.

What the published figures can—and cannot—tell you

Those shared figures do not establish identical handling or real-world range. Addmotor’s stated range is tied to PAS1, and no independent range or comparative performance test for these two models is established in the cited materials.
In its August 21, 2026 announcement, Addmotor Chief Product R&D Officer Kin Chen described the E-361 as building on the M-368X platform and retaining its core specifications, while adding a folding frame, a redesigned saddle, urban suspension tuning, and urban tires. This is the manufacturer’s explanation of the design relationship, not an independent evaluation.
