Eighty8 is a free HTML website template from Colorlib aimed at radio stations and podcasts. Colorlib lists a responsive layout, blog, contact page, social links, audio player, and widget-rich footer. Its product page states a CC BY 3.0 license, while also displaying paid options for support and updates; the free template and those optional tiers are distinct. Check Colorlib’s Eighty8 page for the current download and terms.
What is the Eighty8 template?
Eighty8 is an HTML website template published by Colorlib in the Music category. Colorlib describes it for radio stations and podcasts, with possible uses for music projects and studios. It provides website files to customize; it is not, by itself, a radio streaming service or a managed website host.

The page’s date information is inconsistent: its post date is December 7, 2018, its release field says January 2026, and a search extraction showed September 2026. Those entries do not establish one reliable release date, so check the live product page for current version information.

What features does Eighty8 include?
- Responsive layout: Colorlib describes the design as intended for handheld and desktop users. This is the publisher’s description, not an independent compatibility or performance test.
- Audio player: The product page lists a player as a template feature. It does not establish that the template supplies a broadcast stream or streaming account; the station must arrange its audio source separately.
- Pages and site elements: Listed elements include a blog, contact page, social-media icons, and a widget-rich footer, alongside a dark visual layout.
Is Eighty8 free, and what are the paid options?
Colorlib calls Eighty8 a free template. The same page displays paid tiers of $19 for a single purchase, $129 for membership, and $349 for lifetime access, associated with premium support and updates. These are the amounts displayed on the researched page, not a guarantee of current checkout pricing or a requirement to pay for the base template. Confirm what each option includes and the current terms at checkout.

What license does Eighty8 use?
Colorlib states that Eighty8 is licensed under CC BY 3.0. Review the product page and the license terms before using or modifying the template, especially for commercial projects; do not assume attribution or other license obligations can be omitted. Colorlib also credits Unsplash for imagery, so check applicable image terms separately rather than assuming the template license covers every asset.
Does Eighty8 include a live radio stream or hosting?
No such inclusion is established by the product listing. A template’s audio-player component and the service that supplies a live stream are separate parts of a station’s setup. You also need to determine who will host the site, connect its domain, and provide the stream or player source.
For comparison, Radio.co describes a Weebly-powered Website Builder add-on and explains how to embed a station player and create a radio blog; its help article says Lite and Plus versions include a free domain, with plan details and pricing available in the dashboard. See Radio.co’s setup documentation. StationHQ advertises managed station website plans with an integrated web player and features such as schedules, news/blogs, and team pages; some tiers include forms or custom-domain support, and the page labels some lower tiers “Coming Soon.” Check StationHQ’s current plan details. These are separate services, not features or bundled services supplied with Eighty8.

Choose Eighty8 if you want editable website files and are prepared to customize, host, and connect them to your station’s streaming setup. Before committing, check whether its listed pages cover your needs for schedules, presenters, events, and requests; those specific sections are not all established in the Eighty8 feature list.
If you prefer a managed radio site with a built-in player, compare services on player setup, pages, hosting and domain arrangements, and how much control you want over the site. For another template-oriented option, Colorlib’s Radios template lists a live player and, in its 2.2.0 section, Schedule, Podcasts, Live, DJ, Events, and Blog pages (12 pages total). Its live version, license details, and checkout terms should be checked on its product page.
