How much does eharmony cost?
The price depends on the membership offer shown to your account. eharmony’s membership and cost page directs members to sign in and view the Subscription page for current terms and pricing, rather than listing a universal dollar amount. That means an old price quoted elsewhere may not match the offer you can buy.
At checkout, look beyond any installment amount: confirm the total for the full term, when and how payments will be collected, whether taxes apply, and what happens when the subscription renews. eharmony lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express as payment options; the payment arrangement can depend on the offer shown.
What do Basic and Premium include?

How to check the offer before subscribing
- Sign in and open Subscription. This is where eharmony says to view current membership terms and price.
- Review what the displayed amount means. Check the complete term price, any installment schedule, applicable taxes and the renewal terms at checkout.
- Compare the package features with your needs. Pay particular attention to messaging and photo access, rather than assuming every Premium package is identical.
- Check for a discount before purchasing. eharmony says it generally does not offer coupons, but discounts may appear for Basic members or during occasional seasonal and holiday promotions. If offered, the discount is reflected on the Subscription page.
- Save the membership details. In Data & Settings, eharmony says you can review your term length and purchase date and find how to turn off auto-renewal.
Are discounts, trials or a one-month plan available?
According to eharmony’s FAQ on one-month memberships, you cannot purchase just one month. The public cost page lists 3-, 6- and 12-month Premium terms. Basic membership is free, and eharmony says it periodically offers free trials to new members, but a trial is not guaranteed to be available to every person.
Discounts are also conditional, not a guaranteed lower price. eharmony says it generally does not issue coupons, though subscription discounts may be offered to Basic members and seasonal or holiday promotions may appear. Check the offer shown to your account rather than budgeting around a promotion you saw elsewhere.
Is eharmony Premium worth paying for?
It depends on whether the features included in your specific offer justify paying for the full term. Basic can suit someone who wants to explore profiles and use the Compatibility Quiz and Likes, while accepting limited messaging and photo access. Premium may be more useful if you expect to message freely, see photos, or use the additional profile and search features listed for the package.
