Early fitness tracker deals are appearing ahead of Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days, which runs October 6–7, 2026. The strongest model-specific offers currently documented are on Garmin watches; current October prices for Fitbit and Samsung models are not verified here. Prices and stock can change, so check the exact model, seller, and checkout total before buying.
Best early Garmin fitness tracker deals
Android Central’s September 17, 2026 deal roundup listed these Amazon prices. They are dated snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices today.
| Model and variant | Listed price | Listed former price | Potential fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Garmin vívoactive 5 (42mm) | $189.99 | $299.99 | Lower-priced Garmin option |
| Garmin vívoactive 6 (42mm) | $229.99 | $299.99 | Garmin smartwatch option |
| Garmin Venu 3S (41mm) | $299 | $449.99 | Smaller-case Venu model |
| Garmin Instinct 3 Tactical Solar (45mm) | $399.99 | $499.99 | Tactical Solar variant |
| Garmin Venu 4 (45mm) | $499.99 | $549.99 | Premium all-rounder |
| Garmin Fēnix 8 Sapphire (47mm) | $849.99 | $1,099.99 | Higher-priced Sapphire model |
Android Central’s Garmin deal roundup describes the Venu 4 as having an OLED display, 5ATM water resistance, multi-band GPS, heart-rate, ECG and SpO2 tracking, Body Battery, and up to 12 days of battery life. Those are the roundup’s product claims, not independent test results. If you want to spend less, the same roundup listed the vívoactive 5 at $189.99; compare the live listing and features rather than assuming a discount alone makes it the better buy.
Fitbit: useful models, but no verified October deal price
Fitbit Charge 6 and Inspire 3 are concrete tracker-band options, but the supplied dated coverage does not establish a current October offer for either. NBC Select’s June 26, 2026 roundup listed the Charge 6 at $85.45 during the earlier June Prime Day event, down from $159.95; that price is historical and should not be treated as an October deal.

Fitbit Charge 6
NBC Select characterizes the Charge 6 as a slim tracker for steps, runs, workouts, and sleep, with more than 40 exercise profiles. Confirm the listing, seller, and current price before considering it against a discounted Garmin or another wearable.
Fitbit Inspire 3
NBC Select describes the Inspire 3 as a slim, light basic tracker with up to 10 days of battery life and no built-in GPS; it uses phone GPS. Treat that battery figure as an editorial/manufacturer estimate, not a measured result here. For someone who wants a simple band and carries a phone on outdoor workouts, that GPS arrangement may be acceptable; if you want GPS in the wearable itself, check the model specifications carefully.

Samsung Galaxy Watch: wait for a listing you can verify
Samsung Galaxy Watch devices are full smartwatches rather than slim fitness bands, combining health, fitness, and sleep tracking with broader smartwatch functions. NBC Select listed the Galaxy Watch 8 at $229.99 during June Prime Day, but that is a historical event price, not evidence of an October discount. The October event coverage confirms the event dates and Prime-member context, but does not establish a current Galaxy Watch price. Check the exact model and phone requirements on the live product page before buying, especially if you do not use a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to choose a tracker deal
Choose a band or a smartwatch
A slim band prioritizes compact tracking; a smartwatch gives you a larger display and broader functions. Decide which you will actually use before comparing discounts. Wareable’s guide makes this distinction between tracker bands and full smartwatches.
Rank #4
- Easy-to-use running watch monitors heart rate (this is not a medical device) at the wrist and uses GPS to track how far, how fast and where you’ve run.Special Feature:Bluetooth.
- Battery life: up to 2 weeks in smartwatch mode; up to 20 hours in GPS mode
- Plan your race day strategy with the PacePro feature (not compatible with on-device courses), which offers GPS-based pace guidance for a selected course or distance
- Run your best with helpful training tools, including race time predictions and finish time estimates
- Track all the ways you move with built-in activity profiles for running, cycling, track run, virtual run, pool swim, Pilates, HIIT, breathwork and more
Check GPS type and phone compatibility
- Look for built-in GPS versus phone-assisted GPS in the exact model listing. The Inspire 3, for example, relies on phone GPS.
- Confirm phone compatibility and any feature restrictions on the product page; do not assume every feature works identically across phone ecosystems or model variants.
Compare wearability and battery claims with your routine
Check case size, band style, and the quoted battery estimate against how and when you plan to wear the device. Battery-life figures are estimates and can vary with settings and use; the available Inspire 3 coverage calls it slim and light and quotes up to 10 days, but does not provide an independent test.

Confirm the exact model and variant, seller, availability, and checkout total. A claimed markdown is not enough on its own; Tom’s Guide notes that not every October Prime Day deal is worth attention. Tom’s Guide’s October deal guide and Android Central’s event guide identify October 6–7, 2026 as the event window and describe the offers in Prime-member terms. Early listings can appear before those dates.
