Amazon’s October shopping event is Prime Big Deal Days, October 6–7, 2026, and early offers have already been reported on headphones, OLED TVs and laptops. The listings and prices can change before or during the event, so treat examples below as dated snapshots—not guaranteed live deals—and check the current Amazon listing before buying.
What to know about Amazon’s October 2026 deals
Amazon calls its October event Prime Big Deal Days, distinguishing it from the separate June Prime Day event. Amazon says the October event runs for 48 hours, covers more than 35 categories and features deals exclusive to Prime members. An eligible free trial is available, according to Amazon’s event announcement.
Amazon says deal drops are scheduled for midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, and offers last while supplies last. A scheduled drop is an opportunity to check for new offers, not a promise that any particular product will be discounted.

Early deals reported on TVs, headphones and laptops
TechRadar’s September 15, 2026 roundup reported early October offers across TVs, headphones and laptops, and named Beats, Bose, Samsung, Apple, HP and Dell among the brands appearing in its coverage. The source material does not establish a specific model and live price for the headphone or laptop examples, so use those brand names as a starting point for browsing rather than as confirmation of an offer.

OLED TV price snapshots
TechRadar listed an Amazon price of $1,599.99 for the 65-inch LG C6 OLED on September 15, describing it as $1,100 below a stated prior price. Both the offer price and the reference price are time-sensitive; neither should be assumed to remain current.
Tom’s Guide’s OLED roundup, updated September 30, listed the Samsung 48-inch S85H at $997 and the Sony 48-inch Bravia 6 at $1,098 at Amazon. These, too, are prices reported on that date, not live quotes. Check the listing for the current price, model details, stock and delivery terms before comparing or purchasing.

How to choose among early Prime Day headphone deals
Don’t choose on the discount label alone. Match the headphones to how and where you will use them, then compare the live price for the exact model.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Noise cancellation: If you commute or work in noisy places, check whether the model has active noise cancellation and whether it offers adjustable modes or a transparency setting.
- Fit and comfort: Over-ear, on-ear and in-ear designs feel different over long sessions. For earbuds, confirm the included tip sizes and fit options.
- Battery life: Compare the manufacturer’s stated playback time for the product and how it changes when noise cancellation is enabled. Check whether the case adds charge time for earbuds.
- Sound and calls: Consider your preferred sound profile and whether microphone performance matters for calls. A product’s music performance does not by itself establish how it will sound to people on a call.
- Compatibility: Check support for your phone or computer, including any features that depend on a particular operating system or device ecosystem.
- Price: Confirm the exact model and current Amazon price. A brand-level mention in deal coverage does not confirm that every model from that brand is discounted.
What to compare when shopping OLED TV deals
First confirm that the listing is for the OLED model you intend to buy. TV names can be similar across different technologies, sizes and model years; don’t infer that a television is OLED from a brand or series name alone.

How to evaluate Prime Day laptop deals
For laptops, start with the work you need the machine to do. A low price on a configuration with too little memory, storage or graphics capability can be a poor fit even if the discount looks substantial.
- Workload: Set priorities for everyday browsing and documents, creative applications, gaming or other demanding tasks.
- Processor and graphics: Compare the exact processor and graphics configuration, not just the product family name.
- Memory and storage: Check installed RAM and storage capacity and whether the configuration meets your needs.
- Battery and portability: Compare expected battery life alongside the laptop’s weight and size if you plan to carry it or work away from an outlet.
- Display and ports: Check screen characteristics and the ports you need for accessories, monitors or storage.
- Operating system and price: Confirm the operating system, exact configuration and current price. Listings for the same laptop family can differ in important specifications.
How to track deals without relying on old prices
Amazon’s official event announcement says shoppers can use scheduled deal drops. Its June Prime Day preview also described category and price alerts, including the example “Alert me to deals on headphones with noise cancellation.” That alert wording was published as June-event guidance; check Amazon’s current interface for what is available during October.

Why June discount figures do not predict October savings
Amazon’s June 2026 Prime Day preview reported discounts of up to 45% on select headphones and earbuds, up to 40% on select big-screen TVs, and up to 35% on select laptops, cellphones and tablets. Those figures describe select products during the June event only. They are not October discount promises, and they do not establish the savings on any particular item now.
