EA’s minimum PC target for EA SPORTS FC 27 is 720p on Low settings at 60 FPS during gameplay and 30 FPS in cutscenes. It calls for a GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 570, 8 GB of dual-channel RAM, and 100 GB of storage. For EA’s 1080p Medium target, the recommended tier steps up to a GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5600 XT, 12 GB of dual-channel RAM, and an SSD.
These are EA’s hardware targets, not independent benchmark guarantees. Compare your whole system—not just its graphics card—with the table below, and treat the listed frame rates as targets that depend on your hardware and configuration.
EA SPORTS FC 27 PC system requirements
EA lists six PC targets, ranging from a 720p Low minimum to 4K Ultra and high-refresh-rate targets. Every tier specifies Windows, DirectX 12, and 100 GB of storage. EA lists broadband internet for each tier; its English requirements table does not specify a universal bandwidth figure.

Which EA requirement tier should you use?
Use Minimum as a baseline, not a quality guarantee
If your PC meets the Minimum tier, EA’s stated target is 720p Low, with different frame-rate targets for gameplay and cutscenes. The minimum includes an HDD, but it still requires 8 GB of dual-channel memory and the listed CPU and GPU. Meeting only the graphics-card requirement does not establish that the rest of the PC meets the tier.
Use Recommended for EA’s 1080p Medium target
EA’s Recommended tier targets 1080p Medium at 60 FPS gameplay and 30 FPS cutscenes. It changes several requirements at once: a stronger CPU and GPU, 12 GB of dual-channel memory, and an SSD. Check each component and the storage type rather than treating the GPU model as a complete compatibility check.

Choose a higher target based on resolution or frame rate
The four higher tiers serve different goals rather than forming one simple ladder. High–Balanced targets 1440p High at 60 FPS gameplay; High–Performance targets 1080p Medium at 80 FPS. Ultra–Balanced targets 4K Ultra at 60 FPS, while Ultra–Performance targets 1440p High at 120 FPS. The latter two specify the same CPU, GPU, and memory class, but different resolutions and frame-rate goals.

- Check your processor and graphics card. Compare both models with the CPU and GPU entries for the tier you want; one matching component cannot make up for another that falls short.
- Check graphics memory. Compare your GPU’s VRAM with the amount in the tier. EA’s requirements list 4 GB at Minimum, 6 GB at Recommended, 8 GB for High, and 12 GB for Ultra.
- Check RAM capacity and channel configuration. EA specifies dual-channel memory. Its PC Deep Dive says two sticks can perform better than the same total memory in a single-channel configuration. Before changing RAM, check the installed modules and motherboard support.
- Check Windows and storage. Minimum and Recommended allow Windows 10 or 11 64-bit with the latest update; the higher tiers specify Windows 11 64-bit with the latest update. Make sure you have 100 GB of available storage in the required drive type for your chosen tier.
- Set expectations for frame rate. EA separates gameplay and cutscene targets, and says performance varies by hardware setup. Do not assume the tier’s FPS will hold in every situation on a PC that merely resembles the listed configuration.
Storage and memory: what EA’s requirements mean
HDD is allowed at Minimum; SSD is EA’s recommendation
The Minimum tier lists a 100 GB HDD, while every tier from Recommended upward lists a 100 GB SSD. EA says, “For the best experience, we highly recommend using an SSD for storage, though an HDD is still supported by the Minimum requirements.” An SSD is therefore an optional upgrade for a PC that otherwise suits your needs—not a requirement for every player. Check the drive’s interface, form factor, and motherboard compatibility before buying one.

Dual-channel RAM is part of the target
EA specifies dual-channel memory across the tiers and notes that two sticks can perform better than an equivalent amount in a single-channel setup. Its examples are 2×4 GB for Minimum and 2×16 GB for Ultra. Those examples do not establish that every system can accept those modules; verify the motherboard’s supported capacity and configuration first.

Use the VRAM estimate in graphics settings
EA’s graphics menu includes an indicator that estimates maximum in-game video-memory use as settings change. Use it to see how a selection compares with your GPU’s available VRAM. It is an estimate, not a performance guarantee.

Choose and customize your keyboard layout
PC keyboard users can choose WASD or Arrow Keys layouts, customize bindings, and use additional tactical shortcuts. Pick the layout that feels natural and adjust bindings to suit how you play; EA does not identify one layout as best for everyone.
Keep EA’s launch-time performance claim in context
EA reported around 50% launch-time improvements in some configurations, based on its own testing, and explicitly says results vary depending on hardware setup. This is EA’s reported result, not an independent benchmark or a guarantee for a particular PC.

FC 27 modes on PC
EA lists these modes for FC 27: Career Mode, The Grounds, Football Ultimate Team, Kick-Off, Seasons, and Online Friendlies. The Grounds is listed as available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2; EA does not list it as available on every FC 27 platform. EA’s site also labels the game as including in-game purchases, including random items.
Current update listing
EA’s official FC 27 news listing showed Title Update v1.0.4 dated October 7, 2026. The listing’s title and date do not establish what the update changed, so consult the actual notes before using it to troubleshoot a specific issue: EA SPORTS FC 27 news.
