E Ink announced a 75-inch Spectra 6 full-color ePaper module on April 10, 2025, aimed at commercial digital signage—not a consumer television or retail display. E Ink initially planned to make sample modules available to partners in Q4 2025. A separate 75-inch Kaleido display has since been installed at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport, showing how large-format color ePaper is being deployed through commercial partners.
What E Ink announced
The 75-inch Spectra 6 is the largest form factor E Ink had announced for its Spectra 6 family as of April 2025. The company positioned it for vivid indoor signage, including advertising, wayfinding, information displays, and corporate or retail branding exhibits. E Ink said the module could use its Ripple waveform and algorithm architecture for smoother updates and expanded color options. E Ink’s announcement said partner sample modules were expected in Q4 2025; that statement is a sample timeline, not confirmation of broad retail availability.
How Spectra 6 compares with other 75-inch E Ink displays
The 75-inch Spectra 6 is not the only large color ePaper approach E Ink has presented. Its 75-inch Kaleido 3 Outdoor and forthcoming Marquee use different color technologies and are described for different operating conditions.

These are not interchangeable products. Color method and intended setting differ, and published temperature figures apply to the Kaleido 3 Outdoor specification and Marquee target—not to Spectra 6. For a project exposed to outdoor temperatures, buyers should confirm the operating envelope and deployment conditions for the exact module under consideration.

Why a large ePaper sign can use less power
E Ink describes ePaper as bistable: once a static image is set, it consumes almost no power, with energy used mainly when the content changes. That behavior can make a sign with long intervals between updates a candidate for battery operation and reduce reliance on continuous grid power. E Ink says its 75-inch Kaleido installation can run for extended periods on battery power without a continuous grid connection, potentially easing power-cabling and installation needs in venues such as airports. The actual battery life and energy savings for a specific project are not quantified in the cited announcement, so they depend on the system and how often its content changes. The Kaleido display can also support animation and video playback while retaining a paper-like appearance under ambient light, according to E Ink. Those capabilities may suit DOOH campaigns, but buyers should compare update speed and content demands with conventional LCD or LED signage rather than assume ePaper behaves like those displays.

Where 75-inch color ePaper is being used
On June 1, 2026, E Ink announced that 75-inch Kaleido color ePaper advertising displays had been installed in the baggage-carousel area of Terminal 2 at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan. E Ink called it the first installation of a 75-inch color ePaper advertising display in an international airport. DynaScan Technology supplied hardware-system integration, while OMNI Media managed advertising-media operations. The example illustrates that a large ePaper display is part of a managed signage system, not just a panel purchase. Source: E Ink.

Can you buy the 75-inch display?
The available announcements describe commercial modules, partner sampling, demonstrations, and integrated deployments. They do not establish a consumer retail price, Amazon listing, or standalone consumer SKU for the exact 75-inch Spectra 6 display. Treat it as a B2B, partner-dependent product unless E Ink or an authorized integrator confirms a retail product or sales channel.
For a real signage project, ask E Ink or a commercial integrator about the specific module and system, including supply status, compatible controller and software, installation requirements, update behavior, operating conditions, and power design. A sample-module announcement alone does not answer whether a finished sign is currently orderable or ready to install.
