What to expect in Duskfade
Duskfade is a single-player 3D action-platformer from Weird Beluga, published by Fireshine Games. You play as Zirian, accompanied by his mechanical Cuckoo, on a quest to save his sister from a mysterious Clock Tower that has plunged the land into eternal night. The official Steam listing describes jumping, dashing, grappling, and gliding alongside combat and exploration.
The developer says the game has four worlds, each with two or three unique biomes as well as common biomes. Weird Beluga estimated about 16 hours for full completion with collectibles and achievements; this is the developer’s estimate, not a measured average. As you move through a biome, look beyond the main path for items and alternate routes. Note obstacles that seem to require an ability you do not yet have; returning later is more useful than repeatedly trying the same blocked route. What to upgrade and where to spend materials
A fan beginner guide says Upgrade Gears and Crystals can be spent on upgrades in Tick Town. The available official information does not establish upgrade costs, a complete unlock order, or which upgrades are best. Treat the materials as a reason to inspect the upgrade options when you return to town, not as proof that one particular purchase is mandatory.

- If an upgrade choice is unclear, keep progressing and learn which combat or traversal challenges you encounter most often before committing resources.
- Do not assume a particular upgrade is required to reach a secret unless a reliable route for your game version says so.

Demo progress, achievements, and other practical details
Weird Beluga said demo progress would not carry over to the full game, explaining that additional content and polish were intended to make the full release a fresh experience. The developer’s FAQ also mentioned possible DLC ideas but made no commitment; feasibility depended on launch. Do not treat that mention as confirmation of released or planned DLC.
