For a reliable, full-page copy, use the free Yoast Duplicate Post plugin: choose Clone to copy a page and return to the Pages list, or New Draft to open an editable copy. A second route is copying content manually in the editor, but the exact steps and which page settings that carries over are not established here, so it should not be treated as an equivalent full-page duplicate.
Method 1: Duplicate a page with Yoast Duplicate Post
This plugin adds copy controls to the WordPress Pages list and editor. The WordPress.org listing says Clone immediately creates a copy and returns to the list. New Draft instead opens a copy for editing. Depending on where the controls are available, you may also see Copy to a new draft in the editor or admin bar.
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Duplicate Post, then install and activate Yoast Duplicate Post.
- Go to Pages and find the page you want to copy.
- Choose Clone to create the copy and return to the list, or choose New Draft to open an editable copy. Use Copy to a new draft if that control is available in your editor or admin bar.
- Review and edit the draft, including its title, content, and page-specific settings. Publish it only when it is ready.
For multiple pages, select their rows in the Pages list, open Bulk Actions, choose Clone, and apply the action. Yoast’s settings also let administrators control what is copied and which user roles can use the feature. The available controls and configuration are described in the WordPress.org plugin listing and Yoast Duplicate Post feature page.
Method 2: Copy page content manually
Manual copying means transferring content in the editor to a new page. The current sources cited here do not document a verified, exact WordPress editor workflow for doing that, or establish which page properties it carries over. For that reason, this is not a dependable substitute for duplicating an entire page when its settings matter.

If you create a new page manually, check its page-specific settings and any builder or plugin data separately rather than assuming that copied editor content includes them. The available documentation does not establish a complete list of properties that a manual copy will omit or retain.

When to use Rewrite & Republish instead
If your goal is to make substantial changes to a published page while keeping its existing URL, use Yoast’s Rewrite & Republish workflow rather than creating a separate page. It creates a working copy and merges the finished changes back into the original. It is intended to update the existing page, not create a distinct new one.
