The Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex Classic is a latex pillow, not a mattress. The available product information covers a medium-profile, medium-feel version with a removable cotton sateen cover. Publicly visible CHOICE material confirms the model was reviewed and tested, but does not show its expert rating or detailed results, so there is not enough accessible evidence to call it a tested winner.
What is the Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex Classic?
It is a latex-filled pillow. David Jones and OPC Health list the medium-profile, medium-feel version; other Classic variants may differ in profile or feel, so check the exact variant before ordering.
David Jones describes the Classic as “the original and most popular of Dunlopillo ®” and says it suits most people. That is retailer product copy, not independent evidence about comfort or fit. Dunlopillo UK’s general latex page says its latex is derived from rubber-tree sap and has an open-cell structure, but those brand-level statements do not establish this pillow’s precise composition or health benefits. What does the review evidence establish?
CHOICE has a review and testing page for the Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex Classic, but its expert rating and detailed test results are restricted to members. The publicly visible information does not establish whether the pillow performed well or earned a recommendation. Do not treat the existence of a test page—or retailer claims about popularity—as proof of a favorable independent verdict.
Is the medium profile the right fit?
“Medium” identifies the listed profile and feel; it is not a guarantee that the pillow will maintain a comfortable head-and-neck position for you. A useful check is whether your head feels supported in your usual sleep position without being pushed noticeably upward or dropping toward the mattress. Body frame and sleep position alone are not enough to prescribe a profile.

- Compare the Classic’s medium profile and feel with any available low- or high-profile and softer- or firmer-feel variants; verify the exact variant name and model code.
- If you need a shaped neck-support design, compare the standard Classic with contoured alternatives rather than assuming the Classic is contoured.
- Check the pillowcase dimensions and the seller’s care instructions. A removable cover does not mean the latex filling itself is machine washable.
Price, stock, returns and warranty
Retail listings are snapshots, not reliable current prices. David Jones showed $179.99 and out of stock when indexed; Myer’s listing showed a sale price, but the amount is not established here. Myer also stated that the item was not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Stock, prices and return terms can change, so verify them with the retailer before purchase, particularly for hygiene-related restrictions.

Who should consider it?
The medium version may suit shoppers who want a latex pillow with a removable cotton sateen cover and whose preferred profile and feel match the listed medium option. The available public evidence is not enough to recommend it on the basis of independent test performance, universal fit, or specific health outcomes. If those are central to your decision, look for the full test results or try the pillow under a return policy you understand.
