Early X (formerly Twitter) reactions to the Hindi Drishyam: The Conclusion, commonly called Drishyam 3, praise its suspense, story turns, interval sequence and climax. Jaideep Ahlawat’s performance is a recurring talking point, alongside praise for Ajay Devgn. These are selected posts reported on the film’s October 2, 2026 theatrical release—not a representative poll or a reliable measure of all viewers’ opinions.

What are viewers saying about Drishyam 3?

In first-day reaction coverage, the most common positive themes are tension, suspense and the film’s major turns. Some posts singled out the pre-interval stretch and climax, with one X user calling it a “brilliant pre-interval sequence” and another writing, “INTERVAL IS PEAK CINEMA,” as reproduced by India Today. NDTV Profit also reported praise for the performances and climax.

Those phrases capture individual viewers’ enthusiasm, not a measured consensus. The available coverage presents selected reactions rather than a platform-wide sentiment count or representative audience survey.

Which performances and scenes are drawing attention?

Jaideep Ahlawat and Ajay Devgn

Jaideep Ahlawat’s portrayal of cop Rajveer Singh Tomar is a repeated point of interest in the reactions covered by India Today. Some viewers compare his casting and performance with earlier versions of the role. Devgn’s performance is also praised, and NDTV Profit highlights the Devgn–Ahlawat face-off among the elements noted in trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s review.

Interval and climax

The interval sequence and ending are prominent in the selected posts. One user described the film as a “satisfying conclusion,” while another claimed, “The CLIMAX TWIST of Drishyam 3 is BETTER than Drishyam 1 and 2,” according to NDTV Profit. These are personal comparisons, not settled judgments about the franchise.

What did Taran Adarsh say?

NDTV Profit reports that trade analyst Taran Adarsh rated the film 4.5 stars and called it the franchise’s “BEST FILM.” He praised its writing, courtroom sequences, climax and the Devgn–Ahlawat face-off, describing the finale as “powerful, gripping, and thoroughly fulfilling.” The star rating is Adarsh’s individual opinion, not an aggregate audience score.

How does the Hindi film compare with the Malayalam Drishyam 3?

Comparisons in the reactions should be read as opinions about two distinct films, not as if they were reviewing the same story. The Hindi film follows Vijay Salgaonkar toward its conclusion; the Malayalam Drishyam 3, released in May 2026, takes a different route through Georgekutty’s story, according to Hindustan Times.

Some viewers say the Hindi climax or film surpasses earlier franchise entries or the Malayalam installment. That is a subjective reaction, not a controlled comparison of narrative, pacing, suspense or performances. Hindustan Times quotes Devgn describing the Hindi film as a “completely new script” and saying the two films are “two very different films.”

Is the reaction unanimous?

No. Entertainment outlets have highlighted enthusiastic posts, but those examples cannot establish what all viewers think. India Today’s own reaction report also includes a more mixed assessment, ending with the question “Was that it?” The early online response is therefore best read as a snapshot: strong praise for suspense and the climax is visible, but it is not universal or a substitute for a broader audience measure.
