Domino’s named Joe Jordan CEO effective October 1, 2026, succeeding Russell Weiner. Jordan’s reported plans include flattening the leadership structure and making innovation a greater priority—but those plans come from secondary reporting, not formal company guidance. Domino’s reported $4.94 billion in 2025 revenue, a separate measure from the more than $20.6 billion in global retail sales reported for the four quarters ending June 14, 2026.
Who is Domino’s new CEO?
Domino’s announced on June 22, 2026, that Joe Jordan would succeed Russell Weiner as chief executive officer on October 1. On that date, Weiner was to transition to Executive Chairman Designate. Entrepreneur’s October 2, 2026, account of reporting by The Wall Street Journal says Jordan plans to have Domino’s top executives report directly to him, rather than appointing someone to take over his former U.S. operations role. Flattening the leadership structure
With the U.S. operations role left unfilled, Jordan would manage the senior team more directly. Entrepreneur reports that he and nine direct reports discussed the company’s long-term direction, including questions such as, “What should the team’s legacy be five years from now? How should employees across the company describe its leadership?” These are questions reported by Entrepreneur, not independently verified transcripts.
Making room for more innovation
The same Entrepreneur report says Jordan wants innovation to be a larger priority and points to a single-serving pizza introduced in August as an example of product experimentation. The article presents this as an illustration of his thinking; it should not be read as a formal company commitment or a forecast of specific product changes.

How to read Domino’s revenue and sales figures
The $4.94 billion figure refers to Domino’s reported company revenue for 2025, up 5% from 2024, according to Entrepreneur. The article says U.S. franchise advertising and franchise royalties contributed to the increase. It is not the same as the total customers spent at Domino’s stores worldwide.

What is confirmed—and what remains reported strategy
Domino’s official announcement confirms the succession and effective date, and its biography documents Jordan’s experience across multiple parts of the business. The plans to remove a management layer and increase the emphasis on innovation are attributed by Entrepreneur to The Wall Street Journal’s reporting.
