Yes, according to Eternal co-founder Deepinder Goyal as quoted by India Today on October 4, 2026: Temple attaches to skin with single-use adhesive Grips, and the reported guidance allows bathing, swimming and sauna use. Scuba diving is the exception. The guidance is attributed to Goyal; it is not an independently verified Temple instruction page.
How does Temple stick to your skin?
Temple uses tape-like adhesive attachments called Grips. India Today reports Goyal saying the device stays in place during movement and “doesn’t move.” He also said users may need about five minutes to adjust to wearing it, and that “You don’t even feel you are wearing Temple.” Those are product statements attributed to Goyal, not independent comfort or wear testing.
Goyal estimated that Grips were right for “99 per cent” of the audience, according to the same report. That figure is his claim, not an independently validated statistic. The report does not give a detailed materials list or specific advice for people with sensitive skin.

Goyal’s reported guidance permits showering, bathing, swimming and sauna use while wearing Temple. The report does not give an IP rating or establish a formal waterproof classification, so these statements should not be read as a general waterproof guarantee.

Scuba diving is excluded
Goyal said not to scuba dive with Temple. He attributed the limitation to the device, rather than to the Grip’s adhesive. The reported allowance for swimming therefore should not be extended to scuba diving.
How often should you replace Temple Grips?
Grips are single-use: once removed, they cannot be reused. India Today reports Goyal saying they may last about seven days, but the company recommendation he gave was to change them every two to three days. Follow that shorter replacement recommendation rather than treating the approximate seven-day possible lifetime as the recommended interval. Goyal’s quoted instruction was: “Always use a fresh Grip,”

What is Temple?
India Today describes Temple as a small, pill-shaped wearable positioned between the forehead and ear, intended to measure brain blood flow through a system called Brain Flow. That description is product context, not proof of a medical or diagnostic capability. The report noted that studies Goyal had shared had not been peer reviewed when it was published; that observation does not establish whether the underlying claims are true or false.
