Yes, but only for streamed play. REPLACED is documented as a PC game, not a native iPhone, iPad or Android title. To play it on a phone or tablet, run the PC version on your computer and stream that session to the mobile device. You can pair a Bluetooth controller with the phone or tablet and use it during the stream, provided the streaming client passes gamepad input through correctly.

That distinction matters: Bluetooth-controller support in this setup does not mean REPLACED has an official mobile port. It means the mobile device is receiving video from the PC and forwarding your controller inputs back to the PC.

Is there a native iOS or Android version of REPLACED?

No native mobile version is established by the available documentation. A StarDesk guide, Easy Guide to Play REPLACED on Mobile (iOS & Android), describes REPLACED as “not a native iOS or Android game” and recommends streaming the PC version from a computer with StarDesk.

No official REPLACED publisher support page confirming an iOS or Android release, or publishing a mobile-controller compatibility matrix, was identified. Therefore, an app-store listing, a Bluetooth pairing screen or a third-party streaming guide should not be interpreted as evidence of a native mobile edition.

How Bluetooth-controller support works when REPLACED is streamed

There are three separate links in the input path:

  1. Pairing: iOS, iPadOS or Android establishes a Bluetooth connection with the controller.
  2. Recognition: The operating system and streaming client detect the controller and expose its buttons and sticks to the remote-play session.
  3. Game input: The PC copy of REPLACED receives those inputs through the streaming client and applies them to movement, combat and menus.

A failure at the second or third link can occur even when the controller appears as Connected in Bluetooth settings. Apple’s guidance explicitly notes that support for particular buttons and features varies by controller and by app. In practice, the streaming client—not a mobile REPLACED app—determines whether the pad is usable.

What you need before attempting mobile play

  • A Windows PC that can run the PC version of REPLACED.
  • REPLACED installed and working locally on that computer.
  • A streaming or remote-play client installed on the phone or tablet and configured to reach the computer.
  • An iPhone, iPad or Android phone/tablet with Bluetooth enabled.
  • A compatible Bluetooth gamepad, charged and placed within normal Bluetooth range.
  • A reliable network connection between the PC and mobile device. The stream carries both video and input, so network quality affects responsiveness.
  • A way to keep the phone or tablet supported during play; a controller does not remove the need to view the streamed image on the screen.

The exact PC hardware, operating-system version and network settings depend on the streaming client you choose. The cited material establishes streaming as the route to mobile play, but it does not provide a universal client, hardware specification or latency benchmark.

Step-by-step: pair a Bluetooth controller and stream REPLACED

1. Prepare the PC

  1. Install REPLACED on the computer that will provide the stream.
  2. Launch the game locally and verify that it reaches the title screen and accepts input from the PC.
  3. Install and configure your chosen remote-play or streaming client on that computer. Complete any account, local-network or pairing steps required by that client.

2. Install the client on the mobile device

  1. Install the matching client on the iPhone, iPad or Android device.
  2. Sign in or pair it with the computer according to the client’s instructions.
  3. Start a test stream before troubleshooting the controller. Confirm that the PC image appears and that you can navigate the client’s interface.

3. Put the controller in pairing mode

  1. Charge the controller and disconnect it from another device if it is already connected there.
  2. Use the controller’s Bluetooth-pairing command. The button combination differs by model, so use that controller’s own instructions rather than assuming a universal shortcut.
  3. Keep the controller close to the phone or tablet while pairing.

4. Pair it in mobile settings

  1. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Bluetooth. On Android, open Settings > Connected devices or the equivalent Bluetooth settings page; labels vary by manufacturer and Android version.
  2. Turn Bluetooth on and select the controller when it appears under available devices.
  3. Wait until the device reports the controller as connected. Pairing at this stage only confirms an operating-system connection.

5. Confirm input inside the streaming session

  1. Return to the streaming client and start the computer session.
  2. Open the client’s controller or gamepad settings, if it has them, and confirm that button presses and stick movement are detected.
  3. Launch REPLACED from the stream. Test navigation first, then movement and combat, before starting a longer session.

If the client does not show controller input, the likely problem is client, device or mapping compatibility. It is not evidence that REPLACED has native mobile support.

Can you use an Xbox or PlayStation controller?

Potentially, yes. A controller that pairs with the phone or tablet and is recognized by the streaming client can be used for the streamed PC session. The available documentation does not provide a model-by-model REPLACED compatibility list, so compatibility should be confirmed in the client rather than assumed from the controller’s brand.

The same principle applies to third-party pads. GameSir’s G8 Plus is cited as a Bluetooth controller listed for iOS, Android, tablets and PC. It is an accessory for the streaming setup, not a REPLACED mobile port, and its listing does not guarantee that every streaming client will map every control identically.

Bluetooth versus wired input for streamed play

Connection Advantages Limitations to check
Bluetooth Wireless setup; works with supported phones, tablets and controllers; the approach recommended in the cited mobile guide for consistent movement and combat. Requires pairing; controller features can vary by operating system and app; wireless links add another compatibility point and require battery power.
Wired or directly attached Can avoid Bluetooth pairing and may reduce one wireless link when the device and controller support the connection. Requires the correct cable, adapter or port; the streaming client still has to accept gamepad input; the cable can make handheld play less comfortable.

Neither connection type turns the stream into a native game. In both cases, the PC runs REPLACED and the client handles the input hand-off.

Network quality and control delay

Streaming sends the PC’s rendered frames to the mobile screen while returning controller input to the computer. A weak or congested connection can make the picture stutter, reduce image quality or make controls feel delayed. The permitted documentation contains no named, dated latency measurements or player statistics, so there is no reliable number of milliseconds to promise.

For a fair test, use the same network conditions you expect during play, keep the PC awake and running the game, and test both a menu and active movement. If controls feel inconsistent, first determine whether the delay appears in the client’s interface as well as in REPLACED; that helps separate a network or client problem from an in-game setting.

Troubleshooting when the controller does not work

The phone or tablet cannot find the controller

  • Confirm the controller is in pairing mode rather than merely powered on.
  • Disconnect it from another phone, console or PC that may have reclaimed the connection.
  • Toggle Bluetooth off and on, then retry discovery.
  • Keep the controller close during the initial pairing and make sure its battery is charged.

The controller pairs but the streaming client shows no input

  • Open the client’s gamepad settings and look for an enable, pass-through or controller-mapping option.
  • Stop and restart the stream after pairing; some clients enumerate controllers only when a session starts.
  • Test the controller in another supported app on the same device. If it fails there too, the issue is broader than REPLACED.
  • Check whether the client supports the mobile operating system and controller mode you are using. Bluetooth system pairing alone does not guarantee app-level input support.

The client sees buttons, but REPLACED responds incorrectly

  • Use the client’s mapping screen to verify that the left stick, right stick, triggers and face buttons are assigned correctly.
  • Disable duplicate virtual controls if the client overlays touch buttons on top of physical input.
  • Reconnect the controller and restart the stream after changing the mapping.
  • Test movement and combat separately. A pad can expose some controls while leaving a particular trigger, button or feature unsupported.

The stream works but play feels unpleasant

  • Move the mobile device closer to the network access point or use the most stable connection available to both devices.
  • Close other high-bandwidth activity on the same network.
  • Reduce the client’s stream quality if the connection cannot sustain the current setting.
  • Keep the phone or tablet charged; streaming, screen brightness and Bluetooth all consume battery.
  • Use a stand or grip so you can hold the controller without covering the display or stressing the charging cable.

Do you need touch controls or a mapping layer?

Not if the streaming client passes the Bluetooth gamepad directly to the PC session. Touch mapping becomes relevant when the client does not expose the controller as a standard gamepad, or when you are using an interface designed around on-screen controls. Mapping can make a controller usable, but it introduces another configuration layer and can create duplicate or incorrectly assigned inputs.

  • Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers
  • Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light and tactile.

Start with native gamepad pass-through in the client. Add touch or virtual-button mapping only when the client requires it, and check every control in REPLACED afterward.

What this answer does—and does not—confirm

The documented conclusion is narrow:

  • REPLACED is documented as a PC game rather than a native iOS or Android title.
  • Playing on a phone or tablet requires streaming the PC version.
  • A Bluetooth controller is recommended for movement and combat in that streamed setup.
  • Bluetooth pairing by itself does not guarantee that a particular streaming app will consume the controller’s input.
  • No official controller matrix, mobile release confirmation or latency benchmark is established by the available sources.

Therefore, the practical answer to “Does REPLACED support Bluetooth controllers on mobile?” is: yes for a compatible streamed-PC setup; no evidence supports calling it native mobile controller support.
