Yes. Ravenswatch supports cross-platform co-op between PC and console versions. Passtech Games announced cross-play compatibility across the game’s versions. Xbox cross-play was temporarily disabled in February 2025, then reactivated on Xbox One and Xbox Series in a March 5, 2025 patch. The latest update identified here is version 1.6.0, released October 12, 2026 for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Which platforms can play together?
Passtech’s cross-play announcement says Ravenswatch is cross-play compatible across its game versions, covering PC and console. The Xbox store also lists cross-platform co-op and multiplayer capabilities. Together, these official statements establish that cross-platform play is a supported feature, not a PC-only option.

They do not, however, provide a complete, current pairing chart. The sources reviewed do not spell out every combination of PC storefront, console brand, and console generation. So while cross-play support is confirmed, do not treat the broad announcement as a guarantee for a particular pairing—for example, a specific older console generation playing with a particular PC edition—without checking the relevant platform listing or trying the in-game lobby.

Check the exact platform and edition when buying, especially for a physical copy; the platform list does not by itself establish that every edition supports every cross-generation pairing.

What happened to Xbox cross-play?
Older posts saying Xbox cross-play was unavailable describe a temporary restriction, not the current status established by the later patch history. In February 2025, Passtech reported a cross-platform communication issue that could arise in larger lobbies involving an Xbox player or after consecutive runs from the same lobby. The developer temporarily turned off Xbox cross-play while preparing a fix.
On March 5, 2025, the version 1.1.04 patch note said Xbox cross-play had been reactivated for Xbox One and Xbox Series. The patch was being rolled out on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. That sequence matters when evaluating old compatibility reports: the restriction was temporary, and the official record later confirms its reversal.

How to prepare a cross-platform co-op session
Official sources confirm the feature and the platform rollout, but do not provide one universal set of lobby instructions or a complete compatibility matrix. Use these checks before troubleshooting a failed connection:

- Update the game on every system. Version 1.6.0 was released October 12, 2026 for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Update timing can differ between platforms, so players on different releases may not be able to join the same session.
- Retry after updates finish. If one player cannot join, check that all players have installed the currently available update for their platform before assuming cross-play is unsupported.
- Use the game’s co-op/lobby flow and check the platform listing. The official sources establish that co-op and cross-platform multiplayer are supported, but they do not specify a universal invitation path or list every platform’s online-service requirements. Consult the relevant platform listing for account or service requirements.
- Recheck the exact pairing if the issue persists. The official platform sources reviewed do not settle every console-generation or storefront combination. A failure with one pairing does not prove that Ravenswatch has no cross-play overall.
The Xbox store lists online co-op for 2–4 players. That is the store’s stated co-op range, not a promise that every platform pairing has identical lobby behavior or that every session will reach four players.

What to check before buying for a group
If you are choosing a platform so friends can play together, verify the exact edition each person will use, then confirm the intended pairing with the platform’s current Ravenswatch listing. The official purchase page offers physical and digital editions, while the developer’s October 2026 update notice includes Nintendo Switch alongside Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. These listings establish availability, but they do not supply a single table of all supported cross-generation combinations.
Also check the online-service requirements for each player’s platform. The official sources reviewed do not provide a unified account of subscription rules across platforms, so those requirements should be confirmed on the relevant platform’s store or support page rather than assumed from the cross-play announcement.

Passtech has not published a cross-play player count or success rate in the official sources cited here. The Xbox store’s 2–4-player figure describes the advertised online co-op capacity; it is not a measure of how many people use cross-play.
