Not yet, based on the official information available on 13 October 2026. Landfall describes PEAK’s console editions, including PS5, as still in development. The developer says those editions are planned to support play with the Steam community and other console platforms, but no PS5 version is confirmed as playable today. Landfall and Steam also do not confirm cross-progression or cross-save between PS5 and PC.
What is the short answer?
PEAK does not have a confirmed, currently playable PS5 release in the official sources checked on 13 October 2026. The game’s existing release is the Steam/PC version. Landfall says it is working on console editions and plans for them to be cross-platform, meaning console players should be able to join people on Steam and on other consoles once those editions launch.
That planned compatibility is not the same as a feature available today. A PS5 owner cannot be assumed to download PEAK from the PlayStation Store, join a PC friend’s session, or move an existing Steam save to a future console edition. The official pages do not provide a PS5 launch date, a console store listing, or a statement about shared saves.

Landfall describes the console versions as in development
Landfall’s official FAQ says, “We are currently working on bringing the game to consoles!” That wording establishes development work, not a released PlayStation edition. The same page does not name a launch date, announce a PS5 test, or provide instructions for installing a console build. You can read the developer’s current wording in the PEAK FAQ.

The official Steam listing identifies the available release as the Steam version and gives its release date as 16 June 2025. It does not list a PS5 edition alongside the PC game. Until Landfall publishes a launch announcement and a PlayStation Store listing appears, treat PS5 availability as unconfirmed rather than available.
What you should do if you see a claimed PS5 version
- Check that the listing is published by the official developer or PlayStation Store, not a video thumbnail, fan page, or search advertisement.
- Look for a specific release announcement from Landfall. A statement that consoles are “in development” does not establish that a build has launched.
- Do not purchase a code or account advertised as a PS5 version unless the platform holder and developer both identify it as an official release.
Will the planned PS5 edition support cross-play?
Landfall says cross-platform play is planned
Landfall’s FAQ states: “PEAK is going to be cross-platform, meaning that anyone who picks up the game on console will be able to play with the existing Steam community, as well as any other console platforms.” This is the developer’s stated plan for the console editions. It indicates intended cross-play among console players and Steam players, but it is not evidence that console matchmaking is live now.
Cross-play means that players using different platforms can participate in the same multiplayer session. It does not automatically answer separate questions such as whether accounts are shared, whether purchases carry over, or whether a player’s badges and cosmetics follow them to another platform. Those systems require their own implementation and can be announced separately.

How does multiplayer work on the current PC version?
For players using the released Steam version, PEAK is a cooperative game with friends-only multiplayer. The Steam listing says the host can invite up to three other scouts, creating a group of up to four players. Invitations and the session itself are handled through Steam rather than through a currently available PlayStation network version.

That four-player limit describes the current Steam listing. It should not be treated as a guaranteed limit for a future console build until Landfall publishes console-specific details. A console release could use the same structure, but the official information does not promise that every platform feature or interface will be identical.
What a four-player Steam session means
- The host launches PEAK through Steam.
- The host uses Steam’s invite function to invite up to three other scouts.
- Friends join the host’s cooperative session; the listing describes this as friends-only multiplayer.
- If a player is using a different platform, cross-play cannot be tested until the relevant console edition is released and Landfall enables the shared platform service.

Can you play PEAK alone?
Yes. Both Landfall’s FAQ and the Steam listing describe offline single-player. You do not need a PS5 release or an online group to play the existing PC version by yourself. Offline solo play is a separate feature from cross-play: being able to play alone does not indicate that a console edition exists, and planned cross-platform multiplayer does not require players to use online matchmaking for solo sessions.

The official answer is unconfirmed
Neither the Landfall FAQ nor the Steam listing reviewed explains whether a save, badge, cosmetic, unlock, or other progress will transfer between Steam and PS5. Do not assume that planned cross-play includes cross-progression. They are different systems: cross-play connects players in a session, while cross-progression requires an account or backend service that stores and synchronizes an individual player’s progress across platforms.

Until Landfall gives a specific cross-save statement, the safest expectation is that a future PS5 edition’s transfer rules are unknown. A player who buys the game on another platform may need to begin separately, or may later be able to link an account; the current official pages do not resolve which outcome will apply.
What information would confirm cross-progression?
A future announcement would need to identify the data that transfers and the conditions for doing so. Useful details would include:
- Whether Steam and PlayStation accounts can be linked to one Landfall account.
- Whether campaign or run progress, badges, cosmetics, unlocks, and settings are synchronized.
- Whether transfer is automatic, requires a one-time account link, or is limited by platform rules.
- Whether purchases are shared or remain tied to the store where they were made.
- Whether progress can move in both directions or only from one platform to another.
None of those conditions is specified in the currently cited official sources, so they should not be presented as features or limitations yet.

If everyone wants to play immediately
At present, the documented multiplayer path is the Steam release. Friends who all have access to Steam can use the listing’s friends-only invite system, with one host and up to three invited scouts. A PS5 owner cannot be promised access through a PlayStation version because the console editions are still described as in development.

If one friend is waiting for PS5
Do not buy the PC version solely on the assumption that its progress will later appear on PS5. Landfall has not confirmed cross-save. Buying on Steam may provide access to the current PC game, but it does not establish entitlement to a future console copy or guarantee that achievements, cosmetics, or other progress will transfer.
If a future console build launches
Check the launch announcement for three separate details: whether PS5 is included, which platforms can join one another, and whether account linking or progression transfer is supported. The first two may be answered by the planned cross-platform statement, while the third remains a distinct question.

Common misunderstandings and how to avoid them
“Cross-platform” means the PS5 version is already out
No. Landfall uses “is going to be cross-platform” while also saying it is working on bringing PEAK to consoles. The future-oriented wording describes intended functionality, not current availability.
A Steam release date is a console release date
No. The 16 June 2025 date belongs to the Steam listing. It does not date a PS5 launch.

Cross-play guarantees shared saves
No. A player can potentially join a shared session without having any progress synchronized between platforms. Save transfer needs a separate technical and account policy, and no such policy is supplied in the cited official pages.
Offline single-player requires a console edition
No. Offline single-player is listed for the existing Steam version. That option does not indicate that PEAK is available on PS5.
How to verify a later PS5 launch
- Start with Landfall’s official PEAK FAQ and any newer announcement linked from the developer’s official channels.
- Confirm that the announcement names PS5, not only “consoles” in general.
- Check for an official PlayStation Store page showing the edition as available, rather than a placeholder or third-party claim.
- Read the multiplayer section for platform pairing, account requirements, party-size limits, and whether cross-play is enabled at launch.
- Read the progression section separately. Look specifically for “cross-save,” “cross-progression,” account linking, and transfer restrictions.
- Use the publication date of the announcement, since console status can change after an older FAQ was written.
Bottom line for PS5 buyers
The official position is straightforward but time-sensitive: PEAK’s console editions are in development, so a playable PS5 release is not established by the sources checked on 13 October 2026. Landfall says the planned console versions will support play with Steam users and other console platforms. The current Steam game supports friends-only online co-op for a host plus up to three invited scouts and also offers offline single-player. Cross-progression and cross-save between PS5 and Steam remain unconfirmed.
