There’s no verified source here showing that Kyle Richards loves, owns, or recommends a Kindle, so three reasons can’t fairly be attributed to her. Amazon’s 2022 announcement mentions Kyle Richards as a celebrity cameo on Amazon Live, separately from its Kindle deals. The current October 2026 event is Prime Big Deal Days, and Amazon’s live roundup lists a discount specifically for Kindle Colorsoft Kids—not every Kindle model.
Does Kyle Richards love her Kindle?
That claim is not substantiated by the available sources. Amazon’s 2022 Prime Day announcement says Richards appeared among celebrity cameos on Amazon Live and separately describes Kindle device deals. It does not connect Richards to a Kindle or say that she uses, owns, prefers, or endorses one. No verified statement from Richards giving three reasons for loving a Kindle is available here.
That distinction matters: an appearance on an Amazon program is not evidence of a personal product endorsement. The headline’s three reasons should not be presented as Richards’s unless a direct interview, post, or other reliable source establishes the connection.

Amazon’s October shopping event is called Prime Big Deal Days, not Prime Day. It runs October 6–7, 2026. In its live deal roundup, Amazon lists Kindle Colorsoft Kids at up to 30% off. This is a model-specific offer; it does not establish that the standard Kindle, Paperwhite, or regular Colorsoft is discounted. Amazon notes that deals and availability can change, so check the product page for the current price and eligible configuration.

Amazon says access to Prime Big Deal Days offers requires a Prime membership. Its event explainer lists U.S. membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year and notes an eligible free 30-day trial. Those terms are specific to the U.S. and the event information available in October 2026; membership pricing and eligibility can change.

What to check before choosing a Kindle
- Reading material: For mostly text-based books, compare the standard Kindle and Paperwhite; choose Colorsoft if displaying color content is important to you.
- Conditions and lighting: The Paperwhite is the model in Amazon’s announcement that is described as waterproof and equipped with adjustable warm light.
- Battery claim: Amazon says the base Kindle lasts up to six weeks and Paperwhite up to 12 weeks. These are vendor specifications, not independent measurements.
- Accessories: Amazon says Kindle Click, a Bluetooth page-turn remote, works with new Kindle devices and Kindle models from 2024 or later. Covers, page-turn covers, and charging docks can be edition-specific; verify compatibility with the exact model before buying.
