DMart operator Avenue Supermarts reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹19,206.18 crore for Q2 FY2026-27, the July–September 2026 quarter. That was 18.4% higher than the ₹16,218.79 crore reported for the year-earlier September quarter. The company counted 518 stores at September 30, including one Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, location closed to customers for reconstruction. The revenue figure is subject to limited review by statutory auditors.

The year-on-year increase was 18.4%, according to Press Trust of India reporting carried by Business Standard. The comparison is with the September 2025 quarter, not with the preceding June quarter.
How does the figure compare with earlier September quarters?
The company’s update lists standalone revenue from operations for four September quarters:

All four figures are the standalone measure presented in the company’s October 3, 2026 update. PTI reported the latest year-on-year growth rate as 18.4%.
What does the 518-store count include?
Avenue Supermarts reported 518 stores as of September 30, 2026. That count includes its Sanpada store in Navi Mumbai, which was closed to customers for reconstruction, so it does not mean that all 518 locations were open to shoppers at quarter-end. The update gives an ending store count, not a quarter-specific tally of openings. Business Standard’s PTI report also notes the Sanpada closure.

Does the update explain why revenue increased?
No. The update reports revenue and the store count but does not give a cause for the 18.4% increase. It also does not provide Q2 FY2026-27 profit, EBITDA, margins, or comparable-store growth. Revenue growth alone cannot establish how profitability changed or what drove the increase.
