Digital Camera World reported on October 5, 2026, that Amazon had the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo for $495, down from a stated usual price of $629—a reported $134 saving. The outlet’s Ecommerce Editor, Sebastian Oakley, called it the lowest price he had seen for the bundle; that is an attributed observation, not proof of an all-time record. The deal was tied to Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, which the report said would officially begin the next day. Amazon prices and availability can change, so check the deal report and current Amazon listing before buying.
What the reported Amazon deal included
The $495 figure was for the Creator Combo, not just the Pocket 3 camera. DJI’s product page lists these items in the box:
- Osmo Pocket 3 camera
- USB-C to USB-C PD cable, protective cover and wrist strap
- Handle with 1/4-inch thread
- Wide-angle lens
- DJI Mic 2 transmitter, windscreen and clip magnet
- Battery handle
- Mini tripod and carrying bag
DJI notes that the bag logo can vary by version. Its Creator Combo listing showed $549 and out of stock when accessed for this article; that separate store listing does not establish whether Amazon’s offer remains available.

Compare the bundle’s current price with the camera-only option and the accessories you would actually use. The strongest reasons to consider the Combo are the included Mic 2 transmitter for wireless audio, battery handle for longer sessions, and wide-angle lens for broader framing. The mini tripod and carrying accessories add convenience, but their value depends on your setup. Current third-party prices and stock for the camera-only model and individual accessories are not established here, so calculate your own comparison using prices available at checkout.

What the Pocket 3 can do
The Pocket 3 combines a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a three-axis mechanical gimbal, a 2-inch rotatable touchscreen and ActiveTrack 6.0, according to DJI’s specifications. DJI lists regular 4K recording up to 60 frames per second; 4K at 120 fps is a slow-motion mode, not a regular recording frame rate. Low-light video tops out at 4K/30 fps.
What to budget for before filming
Get a compatible microSD card
The camera has no built-in storage and records to a microSD card. DJI lists support for cards up to 1 TB and recommends specific models on its specifications page. If you do not already have a compatible card, include one in your total cost.

Treat runtime figures as test results, not promises
DJI’s listed 166-minute operating time was measured at 25°C while recording 1080p/24 fps with Wi-Fi and the screen off. DJI says the result is for reference only; expect actual runtime to vary with settings and use. DJI also says the battery handle adds approximately 62%—an additional 103 minutes at 1080p/24 fps—in laboratory testing, likewise for reference only. See DJI’s specifications and its support page for the conditions and accessory details.

How to judge the price claim
The $495 offer, $629 usual price and $134 reduction are figures in Digital Camera World’s October 5, 2026 report, not a guaranteed current Amazon price. The report’s “lowest price I have seen” wording describes the author’s own observation; the available evidence does not establish an independently verified all-time low. Check the price shown at Amazon before purchasing, and compare it with the accessories’ value to you rather than treating the headline discount alone as a reason to buy.
