DroneXL reported on October 6, 2026, that Amazon had the controller-free DJI Neo base kit for $139, 30% below the outlet’s stated $199 list price. DroneXL says $139 matches the lowest price it has tracked. The offer, stock, seller and package contents can change, so check the DJI Neo at Amazon before buying; the report does not establish that the price is still available or whether Prime membership is required.
What the $139 DJI Neo deal includes
The offer reported by DroneXL applies to the controller-free base kit, not necessarily every Neo bundle on Amazon. DJI lists the standard package as the drone, one intelligent flight battery, a pair of propeller guards, spare propellers, a gimbal protector, a USB-C cable, a screwdriver and spare propeller screws. Compare that list with the live Amazon listing, since bundle contents may differ.
DroneXL’s October 6 report said the price was checked at 7 a.m. Eastern. That is a dated price snapshot, not a guarantee of the current price, availability, seller or event terms.

DroneXL says $139 matches the lowest price in its tracking history. The outlet reports that Amazon also offered that price during June 2026 Prime Day and on September 2, 2026. In its historical comparison, DroneXL puts the lowest price during October’s 2025 Prime event at $159; Tom’s Guide also described $159 as the then-lowest price in its October 8, 2025 deal coverage. These are reported historical comparisons, not an independently audited market-wide price record.

What the DJI Neo is
DJI describes the Neo as a 135 g drone designed to take off from and land in a person’s palm. Its official product information lists a 1/2-inch image sensor and 4K video at 30 frames per second in supported configurations, as well as 1080p vertical-video modes. Available image formats and stabilization options depend on the selected mode and configuration.
DJI lists approximate maximum hovering time as 18 minutes, or about 17 minutes with propeller guards. Those figures come from manufacturer testing in a windless environment under defined camera and battery conditions; DJI cautions that actual results vary with environment, use and firmware. They are not guaranteed real-world flight times. DJI also specifies maximum wind-speed resistance of 8 m/s (Level 4) and an operating temperature range of -10° to 40° C.

Should you buy the base kit or a bundle?
DroneXL’s October 6 price snapshot listed several alternatives. Because bundle prices and availability are volatile, verify the listing and what it contains before choosing.
| Option | Reported price | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Controller-free base kit | $139 | One battery in DJI’s listed standard package; check the Amazon listing for exact contents. |
| Three-battery combo | $201 | Higher total spend for additional batteries; verify the bundle contents. |
| Fly More Combo with RC-N3 controller | $242 | Includes a dedicated controller, according to DroneXL’s deal report. |
| Motion Fly More Combo with RC Motion 3 | $369 | Motion-controller bundle, according to DroneXL’s deal report. |
The base kit is the least expensive entry point if you want to try the Neo’s palm- or phone-control style and do not need a dedicated controller. A bundle may make more sense if you expect longer sessions or want the control hardware included; compare its total price, battery count and exact accessories rather than judging by the discount alone.
