The Dimensity 7360 family has the stronger CPU and newer GPU architecture, plus support for faster memory and storage than the Dimensity 6360 family. Third-party listings also show higher benchmark results for the 7360. But MediaTek’s detailed specifications cover the chipset families, not separate Turbo and Apex implementations, and the benchmark figures are not from a controlled test of the same phones. Treat this as a platform-level comparison—not a guaranteed performance gap between two specific handsets.
Dimensity 7360 Turbo vs Dimensity 6360 Apex: specifications
MediaTek’s catalog identifies the branded Dimensity 7360 TURBO and Dimensity 6360 APEX, while its detailed product pages describe the 7360 and 6360 families. The table reflects those family-level specifications; a phone maker can limit which capabilities a particular device supports.
| Specification | Dimensity 7360 family | Dimensity 6360 family |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 4× Arm Cortex-A78 up to 2.5 GHz + 4× Cortex-A55 | 2× Arm Cortex-A76 up to 2.4 GHz + 6× Cortex-A55 up to 2.0 GHz |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G615 MC2 | Arm Mali-G57 MC2 |
| Memory support | LPDDR4x or LPDDR5; listed maximum frequency up to 6400 Mbps | LPDDR4x; listed maximum frequency 2133 MHz |
| Storage support | UFS 3.1 | UFS 2.2 |
| Wi-Fi / Bluetooth | Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth 5.4 | Wi-Fi 5 / Bluetooth 5.2 |

| Display capability listed | W F HD+ at 120 Hz or Full HD+ at 144 Hz | Up to 2520 × 1080 at 120 Hz |
| Camera capability listed | Up to 200 MP sensor; 4K video capture at 30 fps | Native 108 MP ISP capability |
Values are from MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 specifications and Dimensity 6360 specifications. These are platform ceilings or supported technologies, not promises that every phone will include them. The listed display entry for the 7360 reads “W F HD+”; that wording is reproduced as published rather than interpreted as a different resolution.

CPU: newer performance-core design on the 7360
The 7360 has four Cortex-A78 performance cores, each listed up to 2.5 GHz. The 6360 has two Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.4 GHz and six efficiency-oriented Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz. On paper, the 7360’s newer performance cores and higher performance-core count give it the stronger CPU configuration. Actual speed and sustained performance still depend on the phone’s cooling, power limits, and software.

Graphics: a newer GPU generation on the 7360
The 7360 uses Arm Mali-G615 MC2 graphics; the 6360 uses Mali-G57 MC2. The 7360’s newer GPU family suggests a stronger graphics platform, but the chipset names alone do not establish frame rates in a particular game. Game settings, device cooling, drivers, and the handset’s power policy matter.
Memory and storage: the 7360 supports newer options
MediaTek lists LPDDR5 as an option for the 7360, alongside LPDDR4x, and UFS 3.1 storage. The 6360 page lists LPDDR4x and UFS 2.2. A phone’s actual RAM generation and storage standard depend on the manufacturer’s configuration; a chipset’s support list does not tell you what is installed in a given model.
Connectivity: newer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth listed for the 7360
The 7360 family page lists Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4; the 6360 page lists Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. The 7360 page also lists 3CC carrier aggregation and dual 5G SIM support, compared with 2CC carrier aggregation on the 6360 page. These are platform capabilities: handset design, regional model, supported bands, and carrier availability determine what you can use.
The peak downlink figures do not give the 6360 a meaningful real-world speed advantage: MediaTek lists up to 3.3 Gbps for it and up to 3.27 Gbps for the 7360. Both are theoretical platform figures, not expected everyday download speeds.

Benchmark comparison: 7360 listings score higher
NanoReview’s comparison, accessed in 2026, reports the following results. These are aggregated third-party listings, not scores from the same phone tested under matching conditions.
| Benchmark | Dimensity 7360 | Dimensity 6360 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 total | 925,409 (23 listed tests) | 612,702 (2 listed tests) |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 1,025 | 782 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,882 | 1,989 |
Source: NanoReview’s Dimensity 7360 vs Dimensity 6360 comparison, accessed 2026. Its AnTuTu component breakdown is CPU 329,195, GPU 123,225, memory 201,306, and UX 271,683 for the 7360; for the 6360, it is CPU 231,974, GPU 47,174, memory 152,618, and UX 180,936. The 6360’s two listed AnTuTu tests make the sample particularly small, so these totals should not be treated as a dependable percentage advantage for every phone.
Device-derived listings for the branded variants
91mobiles also reports results associated with phones using the branded chips: its Dimensity 6360 Apex page lists Geekbench 6 scores of 788 single-core and 1,993 multi-core, while its Dimensity 7360 Turbo page lists 1,027 and 2,907. The pages also show AnTuTu figures of about 588,319 for the Apex and about 990,352 for the Turbo. These are device-derived listings, and the pages have slight inconsistencies between AnTuTu summary and detail displays. They are not universal chipset scores or a controlled head-to-head test.

Which chipset should you choose?
Choose a 7360-based phone if the device itself fits
The 7360 family is the stronger specification choice for CPU and GPU capability, and it supports newer memory, storage, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth options. It is the more promising starting point if you are choosing between otherwise similar phones and care about demanding apps or games. Confirm the exact phone’s RAM, storage type, cooling, display, and regional configuration rather than assuming the chipset guarantees them.
Evaluate a 6360-based phone on its overall value
The 6360’s family specifications are less advanced in several areas, but that does not by itself make a phone using it a poor choice. Price, battery life, software support, camera implementation, and the phone’s actual performance can matter more than the chipset name for everyday use.
For gaming, look for tests of the exact handset
Neither the GPU model nor an aggregate benchmark settles how smoothly a specific phone will run a game over time. Prefer reviews that identify the exact model and report game settings, frame rate, temperature, and sustained performance. When checking benchmark scores, note the benchmark version, phone model, RAM, software version, cooling conditions, and number of samples whenever available.
Why the exact Turbo-versus-Apex result is uncertain
MediaTek’s catalog names the Dimensity 7360 TURBO and Dimensity 6360 APEX, but the detailed MediaTek pages cited here do not provide separate specification tables for those branded variants. The family specifications therefore establish what MediaTek lists for the 7360 and 6360 platforms—not whether every Turbo or Apex phone implements all those capabilities or performs identically.
For a buying decision, compare the exact regional handset models and use benchmarks from those phones when available. Shared chipset labels and results gathered from different devices cannot establish a precise performance difference for the two phones you may be considering.
