Does Diablo IV on Switch 2 support local co-op?
Switch 2-specific local co-op details are not confirmed by the official sources reviewed. In particular, they do not establish the player count, how each player must sign in, or whether Nintendo Switch Online is required. Blizzard has discussed couch co-op for console versions generally, but legacy information does not verify how this Switch 2 edition works. A community forum claim about two-player couch co-op is not an official confirmation.
For a definitive answer, check current Blizzard support information for the Switch 2 edition before relying on local play for a planned session.

- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch

- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
Can you play the Switch 2 version offline?
Official Switch 2 documentation reviewed does not confirm whether the game can be played without an internet connection. A community thread claims an internet connection is required, but that is not an authoritative platform-specific answer. Blizzard’s older PC launch requirements listed broadband internet for PC; that requirement should not be treated as confirmation of the Switch 2 edition’s network behavior. Check Blizzard’s current support guidance for the Switch 2 version before planning to play offline.
How much storage does Diablo IV need on Switch 2?
The exact Switch 2 download size, installed footprint, update size, and recommended free space have not been stated in the official sources reviewed. Check the game’s current Nintendo eShop listing or Blizzard support materials for a current figure rather than budgeting from a PC requirement.

Nintendo states that Switch 2 has 256 GB of internal storage, with some capacity reserved for system use. That is the console’s total stated capacity, not the free space available for games after system data and other content. Nintendo also says no individual game currently requires additional storage space to play; that general statement does not reveal this title’s size. See Nintendo’s Switch 2 FAQ for storage guidance.

Nintendo specifies microSD Express cards for storing downloaded software, updates, and DLC on Switch 2. Do not assume a regular microSD card is the right format for that purpose: confirm that a card is microSD Express and check Nintendo’s current guidance before buying. No official Switch 2 download figure for this game is available here, so there is not enough information to recommend a card capacity or say that an expansion card is required.
