No—the available 2026 Prime Big Deal Days listing does not verify a 44% discount on the DEWALT 20V MAX brushless drill-and-impact combo. Amazon’s official roundup says that kit is up to 28% off, and its text does not identify a model number. A 44% figure in older deal coverage applied to a different DEWALT kit. Check the exact live listing and its price history before buying.
What Amazon’s 2026 deal listing says
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days 2026 roundup describes a DEWALT 20V MAX brushless combo kit with a drill and an impact driver, advertised as up to 28% off. The roundup identifies neither an exact model number nor the bundle’s full in-box contents, so verify those details on the product page before treating a listing as the same kit.
Amazon says the event runs October 6–7, 2026, and notes that deals and availability can change. The discount in the roundup is an event claim, not a guarantee that the same price or offer remains available whenever you visit.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minutePC Slower Than It Used to Be?

The 44% claim appeared in an ABC News 2024 deal roundup for the DEWALT DCD771C2 cordless drill/driver kit. That older listing described two batteries and a charger and showed $99 against $179. It was a drill/driver kit, not the 2026 roundup’s brushless drill-and-impact combo; its historic price does not establish a current price or discount for the combo.
#1 Best Overall
- Ergonomically Designed: Work in tight areas with a compact design that gets into tough spots
- Compact and Lightweight: Both tools are designed to fit into difficult to reach spaces. The 1/4" impact driver has a length of 5.55 in. and weighs just 2.8 lbs, while the 1/2" drill/driver measures only 7.5 in. and weighs 3.6 lbs
- Both the DEWALT impact driver and electric drill driver feature integrated LED work lights with a convenient 20-second delay, ensuring enhanced visibility in dimly lit or challenging work areas
- One-Handed Loading - Keep one hand free with a 1/4 in. hex chuck that accepts 1 in. bit tips
- Power drill cordless with 1/2" single sleeve ratcheting chuck provides tight bit gripping strength, making bit changes faster and more secure
What the drill-and-impact pairing is useful for
A drill/driver is used for drilling holes and driving fasteners, while an impact driver is a separate tool focused on driving screws and similar fasteners. For a project that involves both drilling and fastening, keeping a drill bit in one tool and a driver bit in the other can save repeated accessory changes. Popular Mechanics describes this workflow in its DeWALT tool deals coverage.
That convenience is a reason to consider a two-tool combo, not proof of any particular kit’s performance. The cited coverage is use context, not an independent performance test of the exact Amazon bundle.

- The variable speed trigger allows for control and precision on delicate work surfaces
- Easily change bits with quick release hex chuck.
How to check whether the offer is worthwhile
- Open the Amazon product page and confirm that the listing is for a 20V MAX brushless kit containing both a drill and an impact driver.
- Check the model number and the listed box contents, including batteries and charger. The event roundup does not state these details for its combo entry.
- Review the product page’s Price History. Amazon says the feature can show up to 365 days of pricing data; use it to judge the listed price’s context rather than relying only on a crossed-out reference price.
- Recheck the final price, discount calculation, and availability at checkout. Amazon says event deals can change, and the roundup’s “up to 28% off” is not a promise for every listing or time.
If you are considering extra batteries or driver bits, check compatibility against the exact kit model and included accessories first; the available deal coverage does not confirm compatibility for a specific bundle.
