Demon Bluff is reported for a full Steam release in November 2026, but no exact day has been announced. Current coverage of the October 8, 2026 Convergence Games Showcase places the launch in that month. The developer’s own Steam posts say only “2026,” so treat November as the current reporting window rather than a confirmed date. A free Demon Bluff Demo has been on Steam since May 27, 2026, and it is the best way to see the game’s mechanics before the full version arrives.
When Demon Bluff arrives on Steam
The launch window comes from two October 8, 2026 reports: a GamersExtra article that says the game is planned for November 2026 and says a more precise date has not been announced, and a DarkZero trailer roundup that gives the same month. Neither report gives a day. The official developer announcements on Steam, including the July 16, 2026 post that still described work toward a full release “this year,” do not mention November.
That gap matters for planning. If you need to know the exact day, the most reliable check is the Release Date field on the game’s Steam store page, which the developer updates when a date is set. Wishlisting the full game on that page also lets Steam notify you when the date changes.
Can you play it now?
Yes. The Demon Bluff Demo is free on Steam and was released on May 27, 2026. It is a Windows PC product. The developer’s May 27 announcement says the demo already contained nine Relics, with more planned for the full release, so the demo reflects a development snapshot rather than the final launch content.

The store listing describes the demo as including 40+ unique character cards, cosmetic unlocks, increasingly complex mechanics and challenges, and multiple modes and scenarios. That 40+ figure applies to the demo. It is not a confirmed total for the full game.
What kind of game Demon Bluff is
Steam classifies Demon Bluff as a single-player social-deduction game with roguelike deckbuilding. Demons have infiltrated a village and disguise themselves as allies. You investigate the corrupted village, question its characters, and work out which of them are demons before exposing and slaying each one. Villager and Outcast cards provide information or abilities, while Demons and Minions can pose as Villagers to mislead you. The store copy sums it up as “The cards lie!”

It is useful to know how this differs from the social deduction most players know from tabletop or online party games:
- Players: Demon Bluff is single-player. You are not reading the bluffs of other people; you are reading the cards and the characters the game gives you.
- Core task: Clue interpretation is the main activity. The store describes it as gathering information from each character and piecing together the truth.
- Run structure: Runs move through multiple villages with an expanding randomized deck, so each attempt can differ from the last.

The Steam store description lists several ways to play:

The developer’s May 27 post gives concrete examples of Relics, which are passive items that change a village’s conditions. Grave Flame can cause health loss when the last four cards are revealed. Severed Horn makes the character in slot one always tell the truth. The post also announced localization work and updates to the demo’s interface and character behavior.
Developer and publisher
Steam lists UmiArt as the developer and offbrand games as the publisher. In an April 16, 2026 post, the developer said offbrand games and Northernlion would help publish and promote Demon Bluff, while UmiArt would focus on development and polish for a 2026 release. The partnership details come from that developer announcement.

- 200,000 Steam wishlists: A later developer-reported milestone in the July 13, 2026 announcement. This is a wishlist count, not a sales figure or a count of unique players, and it should not be added to the May figure as a separate audience.
- Demo reviews: When checked in October 2026, the demo’s Steam page showed 616 all-time reviews at 85% positive and 34 recent reviews at 73% positive. These counts change over time.
- Outlet-reported figures: The October 8 GamersExtra report says the game had about 230,000 wishlists and nearly 300,000 playtest participants, with average playtest time approaching six hours. These numbers come from the outlet and do not appear in the developer’s official posts, so treat them as reported rather than confirmed.

The demo’s Steam page lists the following minimum requirements for Windows PC. No other platform release has been confirmed in the sources reviewed.
