The De’Longhi Tasciugo AriaDry Multi DEXD214RF is a 14-litre-per-day compressor dehumidifier with continuous drainage, a clothes-drying mode and a three-part filter system. That 14 L/24 h figure is specified for warm, humid conditions—not a guaranteed daily amount in every room. An independent listing reports a lower laboratory-measured rate, but its test conditions are not available in the accessible results, so the figures cannot be treated as a direct comparison.
De’Longhi spells the family name Tasciugo; “Tascuigo” appears in some searches and listings. The model code to match is DEXD214RF.
What does the DEXD214RF offer?
This is a specification-led review based on manufacturer information and an independent consumer-organization listing; it is not a hands-on test. How much water does it remove per day?
De’Longhi’s UK technical table states a maximum extraction rate of 14 L/24 h in normal mode at 32°C and 80% relative humidity. The same product page’s marketing bullet says “Remove up to 14 litres of excess moisture in 24 hours” and attaches a footnote of 30°C/80% RH. Because those temperature references differ on the page, use the technical-table condition when interpreting the specification rather than treating 14 litres as a condition-free daily expectation. Altroconsumo’s accessible model listing identifies the DEXD214RF as laboratory tested and reports 7.70 L/24 h measured against 13.92 L/24 h declared. Its detailed test results are access-restricted, and the visible page does not establish the test conditions or full score breakdown. The UK product page lists the following specifications. De’Longhi does not state tank capacity in the UK technical data shown, so the table does not assume one.

Other sources report different figures: a French regional product sheet gives 305 W and a 2.1 L tank, while Altroconsumo lists 255 W and a 2.30 L tank. These are source- and region-specific listings, not values to merge into a single universal specification. The UK page’s 300 W figure and omitted tank capacity should likewise be treated as UK-page data, not assumed for every market. Confirm the documentation for the exact unit and region before relying on tank capacity, wattage or room-volume guidance. The French sheet also lists a 65 m³ treated volume, a 12-hour timer, an operating range of 2–30°C and automatic restart; these details are not stated in the UK technical table reviewed.
Drainage, tank handling and laundry mode
De’Longhi lists a continuous-drainage facility and says the drainage pipe is included, so the hose is not described as an extra purchase. This can reduce the need to empty collected water manually when the unit is positioned for a suitable drain. The manufacturer also lists tank control, but the UK specification extract does not give tank capacity. Regional listings differ, so check the exact market documentation if the amount of water the tank holds matters to your routine.
A dedicated clothes-drying function is listed, but the available evidence does not establish drying time or a guaranteed result for a particular load, room or weather condition. Treat it as an operating mode, not a promise of a specific drying speed.

De’Longhi describes a three-action arrangement: a dust pre-filter for larger particles, a removable allergen filter and an active-carbon filter intended to help with unpleasant odours. The product page also lists an electronic hygrometer and thermometer. These are manufacturer-described features; they do not establish a medical benefit or independently verified filtration outcome. De’Longhi additionally says the unit uses a minimum of 30% recycled plastic.

The accessible product information does not establish a replacement-filter part number or compatible listing. For a replacement, consult the model support materials and match the part to the regional DEXD214RF variant rather than assuming that filters for similarly named models fit. De’Longhi’s international support center provides access to manuals and safety information.

The UK page lists 40 dBA and 300 W, but it does not state a measurement mode for the noise figure. The French sheet gives 40 dB(A) and 65 m³ treated volume, while those room-volume details are absent from the UK technical table. Altroconsumo’s listed power is 255 W. Since these sources present differing regional or source-specific data and do not provide matching test conditions, compare them with another dehumidifier only when the market version and measurement basis are clear.

The UK listing gives a weight of 10.3 kg and dimensions of 508 × 334 × 220 mm. De’Longhi’s page refers to integrated handles; castors are not listed there. Use the dimensions and weight to judge where it can be placed and moved, but the available evidence does not establish independently verified room-size suitability or real-world noise.
Verdict: who should consider the DEXD214RF?
The DEXD214RF is worth considering if you want a dehumidifier with a manufacturer-specified continuous-drain option, included hose, laundry mode and stated filter stages. The headline 14 L/24 h capacity applies under stated warm, humid conditions, and the accessible independent listing does not reveal enough about its test conditions to predict the unit’s extraction in your home. Before choosing it, check your region’s documentation for tank size and power, and compare extraction figures only when their conditions are comparable.
