The De’Longhi Nespresso Inissia EN80BAE is identified by De’Longhi as a black Inissia espresso machine, but its exact package contents matter: the support listing references an Aeroccino variant without establishing that every seller includes the frother. The Inissia family is a compact, straightforward choice if you want Nespresso Original capsules and Espresso or Lungo buttons, and you’re comfortable inserting and ejecting capsules by hand.
What is the EN80BAE?
De’Longhi’s US support page identifies the EN80BAE as “Inissia, Black” and describes it as a “Nespresso Inissia Espresso Machine by De’Longhi with Aeroccino, Black.” The same page provides access to instructions. That identifies the model, but the product name alone does not confirm what a particular retailer ships. Check the listing’s model code and its package-contents section before paying extra for an included milk frother. De’Longhi’s EN80BAE support page
For context, Nespresso’s US product page covers an Inissia color variant rather than the EN80BAE SKU. Its specifications are useful as family-level reference figures, not as independently confirmed specifications for this exact model.
What does the Inissia do, and what capsules fit?
The Inissia family is a Nespresso Original capsule machine. Its two coffee-size controls are Espresso and Lungo. Capsule handling is manual: insert a capsule, start the brew, then open the mechanism to eject the used capsule. It is not a machine that automatically loads a fresh capsule for you. Buy Nespresso Original capsules or capsules explicitly compatible with the Original system. A capsule’s general claim to work with Nespresso machines is not enough if it is made for a different Nespresso system. The cited product page establishes the Original format, but does not establish current capsule prices or compare third-party brands.
How much space does it need?
Nespresso lists the US Inissia family page at 4.6 × 12.6 × 9.1 inches (width × depth × height), with a weight of 5.29 pounds. The page also describes a removable 23.8-ounce water tank and a folding drip tray. Treat those as family-page specifications: they are not an exact-SKU specification sheet for the EN80BAE. Measure the space the machine will actually occupy, including depth and room to reach the tank and capsule mechanism. The narrow width does not tell you whether it will fit comfortably under a cabinet or leave enough access to refill and clean it.

A separate official Nespresso manual documents the D40 Inissia variant at 0.7 L tank capacity, up to 19 bar pressure, 2.4 kg weight, and 9–11 used capsules. Those are D40-manual figures, not verified EN80BAE specifications; the manual is useful for operating and care guidance only when it matches the machine and market in hand. Does the EN80BAE include an Aeroccino?
Do not assume so from the EN80BAE name. De’Longhi’s support listing references an Aeroccino version, and Nespresso sells an example Inissia bundle that includes an Aeroccino 3, but bundle contents depend on the offer. Confirm that the seller’s listing explicitly names the frother and includes it in the box. De’Longhi EN80BAE support; Nespresso US Inissia Silver Bundle

Expect to fill the removable tank, insert a capsule, choose Espresso or Lungo, and manually eject the used capsule. The family page’s 11-capsule container figure gives a sense of how often spent capsules need emptying, though capacity is not confirmed for the exact EN80BAE SKU.

For cleaning, descaling, troubleshooting, and safety, use the instructions for the machine’s variant and market. The official D40 manual covers those topics, but verify that it matches your machine before following model-specific steps. The available materials do not establish a particular commercial descaler as compatible with EN80BAE. Nespresso Inissia D40 manual

It is a reasonable fit if you want a compact Original-capsule machine with two uncomplicated drink-size buttons and are happy to handle capsules manually. It is less suitable if you expect automatic capsule handling, a built-in milk system, or a guaranteed frother in the box without checking the offer.
Before ordering, verify the EN80BAE model code, the contents of the package, the warranty and return terms for your market, and whether the Original capsule format suits your routine. The evidence available here does not establish current price, stock, exact EN80BAE electrical specifications, or one universal bundle configuration. A related De’Longhi EN80B listing publishes a 25-second heat-up, up to 19 bar pressure, and 9-minute auto-off, but those details belong to EN80B and should not be treated as EN80BAE specifications.
