The Dell XPS 27 7760 is a 2017-era all-in-one desktop with documented 27-inch UHD touch and non-touch options, a listed 60 Hz refresh rate, and a substantial built-in speaker system. It is not safe to assume every used 7760 has a touchscreen: check the exact configuration. Period reviewers praised its display and audio but also flagged its size and hard-to-reach rear ports, so those trade-offs matter as much as the specifications when considering one today.
Does the XPS 27 7760 have a 4K touchscreen?
It can, but touch is not universal across the model family. Dell lists two 27-inch UHD panel options: one with touch and one without. The specifications give a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Check the seller’s exact configuration or the unit itself rather than relying on “XPS 27 7760” in a listing title. Dell’s setup specifications document the options.
Resolution alone does not establish color accuracy, brightness, or suitability for color-critical work. Tom’s Guide called the display excellent in its 2017 review, but that is a reviewer’s assessment of its review unit, not a measurement applicable to every configuration. Tom’s Guide’s review described a 4K touchscreen.
How many speakers does it have?
Dell’s specification table lists eight speakers, 10 W average output and 15 W peak output, a Realtek ALC3266CG audio controller, Waves MaxxAudio Pro, and an array microphone. Windows Central’s 2017 coverage described eight speakers in the bottom section plus two down-firing units, calling it a ten-speaker arrangement. These are different source descriptions and should not be collapsed into one definitive count. Dell’s specifications and Windows Central’s review provide those respective descriptions.

Tom’s Guide also praised the audio as a standout feature. That is a period review impression rather than an independently established measurement. For an all-in-one, the built-in audio may reduce the need for separate desktop speakers, but listening preference and room conditions still matter.
Which ports does the XPS 27 7760 offer, and are they easy to reach?
Dell documents a broad connection set for this model: two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port with PowerShare, HDMI, DisplayPort, a headset port, configurable audio line-out, and RJ45 Ethernet. Verify the applicable manual and the actual unit before buying, particularly if a specific port is essential; similarly named later systems such as the OptiPlex 7760 are different products.

The trade-off is placement. Tom’s Guide and Windows Central both observed that most ports are at the rear and can be awkward to reach. If you regularly plug in flash drives, headphones, or peripherals, allow room behind the display or plan to use accessible ports and a hub.
What did reviewers think of its size, stand, and bundled accessories?
Tom’s Guide’s September 1, 2017 review praised its review unit’s display, audio, performance, and included keyboard and mouse. The same review criticized the system’s bulk, rear-port access, and webcam placement. Windows Central also noted the rear-port inconvenience. These are contemporary reviewer judgments, not claims about every used system’s condition or included accessories. Confirm that the stand, keyboard, mouse, and any other items shown in a listing are actually included.

Tom’s Guide reviewed an Intel Core i7-7700 configuration with 16 GB of memory, AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics with 8 GB, a 512 GB SSD, a 4K touchscreen, and an articulated stand. It reported a $1,399 starting price and $2,599 for its as-configured unit at the time. Those figures describe a 2017 review and are not current prices or an indication of present used-market value. - Display: Confirm UHD resolution and whether the panel is touch or non-touch; the family name does not settle either question for a particular unit.
- Core hardware: Compare the processor, graphics, memory, and storage in the listing rather than assuming all 7760 systems match the reviewed i7 configuration.
- Physical setup: Check the stand or mounting arrangement, desk footprint, screen and chassis condition, and which accessories are included. If considering a VESA mount, compare the unit with Dell’s model-specific setup diagram instead of assuming a mount fits.
- Ports and placement: Make sure the actual connectors meet your needs and that rear access works with your desk layout.
- Transaction and support: Check the seller’s return terms, current asking price, and the operating-system support and security-update status relevant to you. Current market availability, prices, and support status have not been established here.
