The following tactics come from Gamezebo’s walkthrough, so treat them as legacy gameplay guidance rather than guarantees for every release.
- Start timed items first. Put a shake in the blender, then prepare other orders while it runs. Start cookies baking before making coffee so the cooking time is not idle time.
- Serve impatient customers promptly. When several customers are waiting, favor those who become unhappy quickly. Gamezebo identifies the business lady as impatient and the tourist as more patient.
- Keep tables available. Clear a table as soon as it is practical so the next customer can sit. While seated customers decide what to order, use the time to clean or handle another task.
- Batch tasks and clicks. Put multiple items on a tray when possible. Queue actions for the item, customer, and cashier, and head back toward the counter after serving a table so you are positioned for the next order.
- Use chocolates with timing in mind. Gamezebo advises giving a chocolate shortly before a customer plays, which it says can improve the tip. Keep customers who tend to tip well satisfied rather than letting their patience run down.
- Look for simultaneous payments. The walkthrough says that collecting payments at the same time earns more money; MobyGames’ screenshot captions also describe a bonus when multiple customers pay together. When the game presents the opportunity, collect those payments in one pass.
- Listen for audio cues. Distinct sounds can signal a new order or a customer asking for the bill. Responding to those cues can help you avoid missing a request while focusing on another task.
How progression and modes affect strategy
MobyGames’ screenshots describe both City to City and Day In, Day Out modes. They also show restaurant progression, new customer types and food choices, map expansion after completing restaurants, and improvements such as a larger tray. These details suggest that your routine may need to adapt as new items and customer mixes appear.
