Singapore-based data-center operator DayOne Data Centers Limited filed for a proposed U.S. IPO on October 5, 2026. It reported US$512.024 million in revenue and a US$77.209 million consolidated net loss for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Revenue was more than three times the year-earlier figure, while the loss widened. The proposed Nasdaq ticker is DODC, but the offering’s size and price range had not been set as of the company’s October 6 announcement.

What DayOne does

DayOne describes itself as a digital infrastructure platform and data-center operator serving hyperscale and technology customers. In its Form F-1, the company says it had secured 4.6 gigawatts (GW) of resources across ten markets and had approximately 2.3 GW of bookings, primarily from seven global hyperscale and leading technology customers. These are company-reported operating metrics based on definitions in the filing; they are not independently audited market totals.

The prospectus says some of its market-position and data-center information draws on a July 30, 2026 report commissioned from Structure Research. That disclosure identifies a source for market estimates, but does not independently validate every claim in the prospectus.

Six months ended June 30 Revenue Consolidated net loss
2025 US$151.500 million US$12.573 million
2026 US$512.024 million US$77.209 million

These figures are from DayOne’s Form F-1 filed with the SEC in 2026. They compare the same six-month period in consecutive years and use the same consolidated accounting measures. The filing also reports a US$81.886 million net loss attributable to ordinary shareholders for the 2026 period. That is a different measure from consolidated net loss and should not be substituted for it.

Why the loss widened

The reported figures establish that the loss widened while revenue grew; they do not, by themselves, explain the causes. The available filing disclosures summarized here do not establish a complete management explanation for the change. Revenue growth alone also does not show whether operations are profitable or how much capital the company may need. Investors assessing the filing would need to consider expenses, financing and debt, customer concentration, geographic exposure, and how DayOne defines resources compared with booked capacity.

What is known about the proposed IPO

DayOne filed a Form F-1 registration statement on October 5, 2026, proposing to offer American depositary shares (ADSs) representing its ordinary shares. The issuer announced the filing on October 6. DayOne says it has applied to list the ADSs on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker DODC. A proposed ticker is not evidence that trading has begun.

As of the October 6 announcement, DayOne said the number of ADSs to be offered and the price range had not yet been determined. The announcement named Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities, and Citigroup as underwriters. No final share count, offer price, valuation, or proceeds target is established by those disclosed terms, and the proposed offering should not be described as a completed IPO.

What the filing does—and does not—tell investors

The F-1 provides reported financial results, company-defined operating metrics, and proposed offering details. It does not establish a final IPO valuation or whether the shares would be an attractive investment. The figures show rapid first-half revenue growth alongside a larger loss, while the capacity metrics indicate the scale DayOne says it has secured and booked. Those measures are not interchangeable: resources and bookings describe different stages or categories under the company’s definitions.

Because offering terms can change, readers should consult the latest SEC filing and issuer announcements for amendments or final pricing. The filed financial results and proposed listing terms are available in DayOne’s Form F-1; the company’s October 6 announcement gives its announcement date, underwriters, and then-undetermined offering terms.
