Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV does not yet have published minimum or recommended CPU, graphics card, memory, or storage specifications in its official Steam listing. As of October 4, 2026, Steam lists a 64-bit processor and operating system as required, while the minimum OS detail is still marked “Coming soon.” That is not enough information to determine whether a particular PC can run the game.
What are the Dawn of War IV system requirements?
The official Steam listing does not currently show detailed minimum or recommended component requirements. Its visible requirement information is limited to a 64-bit processor and operating system, with the minimum OS entry marked “Coming soon.”
| Requirement | Official information currently listed |
|---|---|
| Processor and operating system | 64-bit processor and operating system required (Steam) |
| Minimum operating system | “Coming soon” (Steam) |
| CPU model | Not stated (Steam) |
| Graphics card and VRAM | Not stated (Steam) |
| System memory | Not stated (Steam) |
| Storage space or type | Not stated (Steam) |
| Recommended specifications | Not stated (Steam) |
Because those details are absent, there is no official basis yet for naming a GPU, estimating a storage requirement, or comparing minimum with recommended hardware. Component lists on unofficial spec sites should not be treated as confirmed requirements.
Can your PC run Dawn of War IV?
Not reliably determinable from the published information. The 64-bit processor and operating system note is a broad platform requirement, not a usable hardware checklist. Until the developer or Steam publishes component tiers, you cannot compare your CPU, GPU, RAM, and free storage against an official minimum.

Jan Theysen of developer KING Art said the team had completed most planned optimization work and expected to publish the requirements soon. That was an earlier expectation, not a requirements list; the current Steam listing remains the place to check for an update.
What do 4K and ultrawide support mean for PC specs?
The developer confirms support for 4K and ultrawide displays, but that describes display compatibility—not a required resolution, target frame rate, graphics preset, or hardware tier. The reviewed official statement gives no recommended monitor or PC configuration. Do not infer a particular GPU requirement from those features alone.

The developer’s full PC-features statement appears in the developer AMA transcript: “We’ve completed most of our planned optimisation work and expect to publish the system requirements soon. Dawn of War IV supports ultrawide displays and 4K, but gamepad controls won’t be available at launch.”

Where to check when specifications are published
Use the live Steam store page for the displayed requirements. When component tiers appear, compare the listed CPU, GPU and VRAM, system memory, storage space and type, and operating system with your own PC. Also check whether a spec is labeled minimum or recommended and what resolution or performance target it applies to; a general 4K or ultrawide support statement does not answer those questions.
