PCWorld reported on October 6, 2026, that Amazon Prime Day had the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme desktop for $1,100 for Prime subscribers, down from a reported $1,300. The deal was said to end at midnight on October 7, 2026, but its current price, stock, and eligibility are not verified. Treat $1,100 as a time-limited reported offer, not a live price.
What the reported $1,100 configuration includes
PCWorld described the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme with these components:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-14400F
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM
- Memory: 16GB DDR5
- Storage: 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD
The exact Amazon listing and SKU are not established by the available source. Before buying, check the product page itself and confirm that its specification list matches these parts; a similar model name alone is not enough.

PCWorld characterized the i5-14400F and RTX 5060 combination as suited to 1080p gaming and noted that Nvidia DLSS can help in supported games. That is a general positioning, not a measured performance claim: the article provides no benchmark results or game-by-game frame rates. Actual results depend on the game, settings, and whether it supports features such as DLSS.

How strong was the Prime Day discount?
PCWorld reported a Prime subscriber price of $1,100 against a prior price of $1,300, a stated $200 reduction. It also said June 2025 was the last time it had seen this configuration at a lower price. That is PCWorld’s reported price history, not an independently verified price chart, and the offer’s stated end time was midnight on October 7, 2026.
Because the offer was time-limited and its live listing has not been verified, check Amazon for the current price, Prime eligibility, stock, and delivery details before deciding. Do not assume the reported discount remains available.

What to check before buying a prebuilt
Use the same core details when comparing this system with another desktop near the same price:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Current price and any membership requirement
- Exact CPU and GPU model, including the RTX 5060’s 8GB of VRAM
- System memory capacity and type
- SSD capacity and interface
- Whether the listing’s specification page confirms the components you expect
For performance comparisons, look for reliable benchmarks of the same configuration under comparable settings. The source article’s 1080p description is not a substitute for those measurements.

Verdict
At the reported $1,100 Prime Day price, this configuration offered a clearly specified midrange starting point for a buyer seeking a prebuilt for 1080p gaming. Whether it is a good buy now depends on the current listing and whether it actually matches the reported parts.
