CTV Movies and CTV Throwback are no longer accessed through the CTV app. Bell Media moved their on-demand content to Crave, and the CTV and Noovo websites and apps began shutting down on May 1, 2026. Look for the collections on Crave, then check the listing for the individual movie or show you want: availability can change, and not every title is guaranteed to be free.
Where can I watch CTV Movies and CTV Throwback now?
Use Crave to find the on-demand content that was offered through CTV Movies and CTV Throwback. Bell Media said this content was already available on Crave when it announced the CTV and Noovo website and app sunset. The sunset began May 1, 2026, so the old CTV app is no longer the route to these collections.
Crave is available on phones, browsers, and a range of connected devices. Bell Media lists iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Hisense, LG and Samsung smart TVs, PlayStation, Roku, and Xbox One among supported platforms. Check Crave’s current device information for compatibility with a particular model, since support can change. Bell Media’s platform list does not identify exact compatible device models.
Find a title on Crave
- Open Crave on a supported device or in a browser.
- Search for the specific movie or series, or browse the available collection listings.
- Check the title’s current page for its availability and any account or subscription requirements before you start watching.
For a television, a compatible streaming device such as one using Fire TV can be convenient, but it is optional; Crave also works on other supported devices. Verify the device model with Crave before buying or setting it up for this purpose.

Can I watch CTV Movies and CTV Throwback for free?
Bell Media announced a free Bell Media account option for ad-supported access to a selection of CTV, CTV 2, and Noovo programming, including content from CTV Movies and CTV Throwback. That does not establish that every movie or show is free, or that a particular title will remain available. Check the title’s current Crave listing for its access terms.
The free option described by Bell Media is ad-supported and requires a Bell Media account. It is not a promise of unrestricted free access to Crave’s entire library. Bell Media’s announcement describes an expanded overall Crave library of more than 40,000 hours of English- and French-language content in 2025; that company-reported figure is for Crave as a whole, not for the two CTV collections.

Why the collections were associated with the CTV app
CTV Movies and CTV Throwback launched on December 6, 2018, as free, digital-only video-on-demand collections on CTV.ca and the CTV app. Bell Media described them at launch as offering thousands of hours of movies and complete TV series. The announcement named Spider-Man, Charlie’s Angels, Men in Black, Community, Dawson’s Creek, and The Facts of Life as examples. Those are historical launch examples, not a verified current watchlist.

What changed in 2026
On April 23, 2026, Bell Media announced that the CTV and Noovo websites and apps would be sunset starting May 1, adding that their on-demand content was already available on Crave. That migration notice is why older instructions to open the CTV app to watch these collections are out of date. Read Bell Media’s sunset notice for the change.
