Shavon Revel missed the Cowboys’ Thursday practice on October 1, 2026, with a reported knee/ankle issue, putting his status for the Week 4 game against Houston in doubt at the time. The latest update, published October 2, says he practiced in full Friday, had no injury designation, and was expected to play Sunday, October 4.
What happened at Thursday’s practice?
Cowboys cornerback Shavon Revel did not practice Thursday, October 1, according to Patrik Walker of the Cowboys’ official site, as cited in the CBS Sports/RotoWire report. The report listed the issue as knee/ankle and said he had been injured in Dallas’s Week 3 loss to Baltimore. It did not identify a specific diagnosis.
Will Shavon Revel play against Houston?
Thursday’s report said Revel’s availability for the Week 4 matchup with the Texans was in jeopardy; it did not say he had been ruled out. The October 2 update superseded that outlook: Revel practiced in full Friday, received no injury designation, and was expected to suit up Sunday, October 4.
