The Corsair Sabre V2 Pro is listed at $70 on Amazon, $30 below its $99.99 MSRP, according to PC Gamer’s October 5, 2026 deal report. It is a 36 g wireless gaming mouse built for competitive FPS play, with a solid shell rather than the perforated design common to many ultralight mice. What the $70 Sabre V2 Pro deal includes
PC Gamer reported the mouse at $70 on October 5, 2026, against a $99.99 MSRP—a $30 reduction, or about 30% off. That is below the $79.99 price PC Gamer reported for the black model in June 2026, when it was discounted from the same MSRP. The October report does not establish whether both black and white versions are eligible, so confirm the color and price on Amazon’s live product page before checkout.
The date of the report places the offer ahead of the October Prime sales coverage, but the available information does not establish the event’s dates or whether the deal is restricted to Prime members.

36 g without a perforated shell
At 36 g, the Sabre V2 Pro is notably light, yet its shell is full-bodied rather than covered in cutouts. That may appeal if you want a very low-weight mouse but prefer a conventional exterior. PC Gamer’s 2025 review gave it 92% and continued to name it its best lightweight gaming mouse in its 2026 deal coverage.

High polling and sensor specifications
Corsair’s Marksman S optical sensor supports up to 33,000 DPI and 50 G maximum acceleration, while the mouse supports polling rates up to 8,000 Hz, according to PC Gamer’s 2025 review. Those are maximum specifications, not a promise that every game, computer, or user will benefit from the highest settings.
Trade-offs to consider before buying
Battery life falls at the highest polling rate
Tom’s Hardware reported approximately 70 hours of battery life at 1,000 Hz and approximately 16 hours at 8,000 Hz in its 2025 review. The figures describe different polling settings; the long 70-hour estimate does not apply when using 8,000 Hz.

Simple feature set and UPE skates
The mouse has five buttons and one onboard profile, with no extra-frills feature set. Its UPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) skates are more durable but glide less easily than PTFE skates, according to Tom’s Hardware. If you rely on multiple stored configurations or prioritize a particularly free-gliding feel, those compromises matter more than the low weight.

At the reported price, it is a strong candidate if your priority is a very light, wireless FPS mouse with a solid shell. PC Gamer’s 92% review score and continued recommendation support its appeal, while Tom’s Hardware’s 2025 verdict highlights the central trade-off: the mouse is exceptionally light but sparse on features. Choose it for weight and a conventional shell, not for abundant buttons, onboard profiles, or the longest battery life at maximum polling.
