For a broad starting point, Pocket Gamer’s October 6, 2026 tier list for CookieRun: Tower of Adventures places 14 Cookies in S+, 17 in S, and rates the rest from A to C. It is an editorial ranking for version 25.0.1—not an official or independently tested performance ranking. Treat it as a guide to upgrade priorities, then account for your mode, team, and investment.

Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsHow to use the tiers when choosing upgrades
Use the ranking as a broad upgrade-priority hint for Story Mode and Raid Mode, not as a universal order for every account. Pocket Gamer says its S+ picks can clear Story stages and may also help in Raids; A-tier Cookies may be situational or become more useful when a Raid calls for them. The guide does not establish measured performance or a guaranteed outcome for any Cookie.

Start with the mode and objective
A tier can hide a strong mode-specific use. Pocket Gamer places GingerBrave in C overall but says his double dash makes him strong for “Challenge! Time Attack!” A lower overall placement is not, by itself, a reason to ignore a Cookie for a particular challenge.
Fit roles, elements, and targets together
Consider how a Cookie’s damage, tagging or debuff utility, and support complement the rest of the team. Element-specific teams and bosses can also make a specialist useful outside its overall tier. For example, Pocket Gamer describes Gumball as useful in Water Raids alongside Cream Soda, despite weaker Story Mode utility.

Account for investment and survival
Levels, Artifacts, equipment, promotion, and skill use affect practical value; community discussion also mentions promotion and signature-card effects. Cristina Mesesan, the Pocket Gamer author, wrote in the October 6, 2026 update: “However, when you form a team, all that matters is the synergy, level, Artifact, and, of course, equipment.” A damage-focused pick may also need healing or protection to stay effective: Pocket Gamer notes Rye’s low HP and recommends having a healer available.

- Honeybear Cookie: An Earth Support/Assist whose Special grants allies a barrier with Honey Wave. His Ultimate adds Sticky Honey, which increases enemy damage taken after repeated hits, and grants shields.
- Cream Soda Cookie: A Water Fighter/Slash who can cast her Special three times and attack in a cone.
- Rockstar Cookie: A Water Support/Assist who provides team ATK buffs and healing. Pocket Gamer notes that charging his skill takes playtime.
- Rye Cookie: A Wind ranged Fighter with strong single-target damage. The guide recommends Crit and Crit DMG investment and a healer because she has low HP.
Why tier lists disagree
Tier placements depend on the author’s criteria, game version, roster, and assumed mode. A July 28, 2026 Mobi.gg list, for example, places Ninja and Angel in S, while Pocket Gamer’s October list puts them in C. That difference is evidence of differing judgments, not proof that either ranking is objectively correct.
A June 2026 Reddit community post describes its LSAB ratings as reflecting potential, performance, and general viability. Its comments discuss power creep and promotion or signature-card effects, but they are community opinions rather than measured performance evidence. No named, attributable published statistic establishing tier-list accuracy or character strength was identified in the sources reviewed.
