To complete the Gravity Anomaly ritual in CONTROL Resonant, find the Parking Garage Security Key in the WEAR’EM & WASH’EM laundromat area, use it to reach the rooftop garage, and enter The Incursion Fault. Follow the Fault route to Jesse; speaking with her grants Shift. Use Shift to align with anomaly-altered surfaces, then follow the television-marked route.
Where to find the Parking Garage Security Key
Look in the laundromat area identified by walkthroughs as WEAR’EM & WASH’EM, near the alley by the locked garage. The walkthroughs agree that the key is in this vicinity, but describe the pickup differently, so check the accessible laundromat and alley area rather than relying on a particular object description. The key is outside the locked garage office.
How to reach The Incursion Fault
- Return to the Parking Garage. Use the Parking Garage Security Key at the garage entrance or office access point.
- Take the elevator to the rooftop parking area. Cross the rooftop lot and look for the opening that leads down toward the breach and television route.
- Enter The Incursion Fault. Follow the quest prompt through the opening.
- Follow the Fault path to Jesse and speak with her. The walkthroughs associate this encounter with receiving Shift; one reports that the ability arrives before the quest is complete.
How to use Shift on Gravity Anomalies
Gravity Anomalies alter gravity and orientation, as Remedy describes on its official CONTROL Resonant page. When you reach an anomaly, face the surface you need to traverse and activate Shift to align with its plane.

A walkthrough reports L1 on PlayStation and LT on Xbox. If your controls have been remapped or the prompt differs, follow the in-game prompt and check the control settings. For an overhead or around-the-corner transition, a walkthrough tip is to move within range and target a visible anomaly edge before activating Shift.

How to finish the ritual route
After meeting Jesse, continue along the streets and surfaces altered by the anomalies. Follow the route’s television interactions, using Shift to move between the planes the path requires. Continue until the quest completion prompt appears.
If the route is not progressing
- The garage is still locked: Return to the laundromat and nearby alley to collect the Parking Garage Security Key, then try the garage access again.
- Shift is unavailable: Continue through The Incursion Fault and speak with Jesse; the walkthroughs tie Shift’s unlock to that encounter.
- A surface transition fails: Move closer and aim at a visible anomaly edge before using Shift. This is a walkthrough-reported tip, not an official control instruction.
- Your button prompt differs: Use the current in-game prompt; the reported L1 and LT bindings may not match remapped controls.
