To change Dylan Faden’s appearance in CONTROL Resonant, use the open blue FBC locker at the Central Checkpoint in Downtown. It opens the Skins menu, where you can choose reported clothing layers, hair, and facial hair. Dylan is a preset protagonist rather than a fully customizable character: the guide lists only “Regular” for Body and Face, with no body or face sliders.
Where to find the wardrobe
During the objective “Find the Maintenance Worker Downtown,” enter the Oldest House and head past the agents standing at whiteboards. Turn into the side room and interact with the open blue FBC locker to open the Skins menu. This route is described in the AllThings. How wardrobe guide.
The guide says the character model previews a highlighted selection immediately, and that selection is worn after you leave the menu.
Clothing and appearance options listed
The guide reports the following menu entries. It does not establish that this is the complete current-game catalog.
#1 Best Overall

Tap into power he must learn to master and take choices to shape how his abilities manifest and grow. Explore a deep progression system to define how Dylan adapts to emerging dangers. Forge connections crucial to Dylan’s fight to retain his humanity as he journeys from former test subject to paranatural superweapon
- THE FIGHT SHIFTS. YOUR WEAPON SHIFTS WITH IT: Meet constantly evolving threats head-on, utilising the environment, deploying elemental abilities and using the raw force Dylan’s shapeshifting melee weapon, the Aberrant. Wield the Aberrant in its many deadly forms. Deliver bone-crunching blows with a two-handed hammer and flow seamlessly into the swift precision of dual-wielded blades as this paranatural weapon morphs on demand to meet each new challenge.
- SHARED LEGACY. NEW THREAT: FBC Director Jesse Faden's lockdown is no longer holding. A paranatural catastrophe has spilled beyond the Oldest House and onto the streets of Manhattan, and the Bureau's grip on containment is failing. Jesse Faden walked into the Oldest House to confront the threat within. Now Dylan must walk out of it to contain the threat beyond.
| Skins category | Options reported |
|---|---|
| Top Layer | Bureau Rain Gear; Circulation Vest |
| Base Layer | Surplus Sensor Platform Suit; P6 Uniform: Torn; Diagnostic Suit |
| Hair | None; Scruffy; Crew Cut; Half Bun. Hair colors are separately selectable. |
| Facial Hair | None; Full beard; Medium stubble shadow |
| Body and Face | Regular |
How the two clothing layers work
Top Layer is outerwear; Base Layer is the suit underneath. They are selected separately, and an outer layer may cover much of the base suit. If a chosen suit seems absent, check which Top Layer is selected before assuming the base-layer choice failed.
Hair and facial hair
Hair and facial hair have their own categories, separate from clothing. The listed hair options include four entries counting “None”; hair color is a separate choice. The listed facial-hair options include “None,” “Full beard,” and “Medium stubble shadow.”

What you can and cannot customize
Cosmetic customization changes Dylan’s outfit, hair, and facial hair. The guide lists Body and Face as “Regular” only; it does not describe face or body sliders, or a way to play as another character. PlayStation’s official game page describes shaping the character’s progression and abilities, which is a different kind of customization.
Gameplay build choices concern abilities, talents, and progression rather than Dylan’s appearance. Remedy’s March 4, 2026 PlayStation Blog overview discusses combat buildcrafting and player choice; it does not document the wardrobe catalog.

- The action RPG sequel to Control, developed and published by Remedy Entertainment.
Are these all the clothing options?
Not necessarily. The listed entries are the options named by the AllThings. How guide, not a verified exhaustive inventory for the current game. The guide also mentions a Hiss Corruption Outfit and a PS5-exclusive Occult Outfit as preorder-tied items, but their current entitlement availability and conditions are not established. Do not assume either outfit can still be obtained or that a particular unlock route applies.
Remedy creative director Mikael Kasurinen has described outfit pieces as mix-and-match elements, including head, uniform-base, and upper-body pieces, in a Tom’s Guide interview. That description supports the layered approach, but does not provide a complete item-by-item list.
