Colorful’s iGame Shadow II 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit is reported at a China-market listing price of 3,999 yuan. The report describes a 2×16GB kit using domestically made DRAM, but does not establish a U.S. sale price of $600 or identify the DRAM manufacturer.
What is included in Colorful’s iGame Shadow II kit?
IT之家 reported on October 4, 2026, that Colorful listed a black RGB version of its iGame Shadow II desktop memory as a 32GB kit made up of two 16GB modules. The reported specification is DDR5-6000 with primary timings of CL30-38-38, also described as C30, at 1.4V. These are reported listing specifications, not independently measured results. The listing is reported to include Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO memory profiles. Those profiles make it easier to apply rated settings on supported systems; they do not guarantee that every processor and motherboard will operate the kit at DDR5-6000. The report also describes a 10-layer reinforced PCB, an RGB light bar, a metal heat spreader and a PMIC thermal pad.
The article characterizes the DRAM as domestically made but does not name its producer or independently verify its origin. It also mentions DDR5 on-die ECC. That is error correction within the DRAM devices, not evidence that the kit provides system-level ECC memory.

Why is the reported price 3,999 yuan?
The October 4, 2026 report gives 3,999 yuan as the China-market listing price for the CL30 kit. It says a previously listed C36 version was priced at 3,499 yuan. Those are reported listing prices, not verified checkout prices, and the report does not establish U.S. availability or a U.S. retail price. The “$600” figure in some headline framing should not be read as a verified American offer; no exchange-rate method or dollar-denominated listing is established by the report.
The available details do not explain the price through a cost breakdown or establish how it compares with competing kits. The C36 price is a separate version’s reported listing, not a controlled comparison: the report does not provide a complete like-for-like performance or value assessment.

What does CL30 tell you—and what does it not?
CL30 is the kit’s CAS latency timing within its reported CL30-38-38 timings. By itself, that specification is not enough to predict real-world performance or determine whether the kit is better than another DDR5 kit. A meaningful comparison also needs capacity, module count, data rate, other timings, voltage, profile support, platform compatibility, regional availability and the delivered price.

The report provides no independent benchmark results, reliability data or tested comparison for the iGame Shadow II. It therefore does not establish that this kit is faster, slower or better value than alternatives.

Is this the same as Colorful’s older Battle-Ax kit?
