CollPlant reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $108,000 and a GAAP net loss of $2.7 million, or $1.89 per basic share. An October 1 earnings roundup described the loss per share as a $1.65 miss and said revenue fell short of estimates, but the company’s release does not provide analyst consensus figures to verify either comparison.
What CollPlant reported for Q2 2026
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, CollPlant Biotechnologies Ltd. reported GAAP revenue of $108,000, down from $179,000 in the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company attributed the decrease primarily to lower sales of rhCollagen-based products. Its GAAP gross loss was $456,000, compared with a gross loss of $7,000 a year earlier. CollPlant’s Q2 2026 results release provides the reported figures.
GAAP net loss was $2.7 million, or $1.89 per basic share, compared with a $3.3 million net loss, or $2.83 per basic share, in Q2 2025. The release also reports a non-GAAP net loss of $2.4 million, or $1.69 per share. These are separate measures: the GAAP result is the primary reported figure, while the company says non-GAAP information is supplemental and not a substitute for GAAP financial information. The release includes its non-GAAP disclosure.

Not by the company’s release. The $1.65 figure appears in an October 1, 2026 Reddit earnings roundup, which gives no consensus estimate or data-provider attribution in the reviewed passage. CollPlant’s reported GAAP loss of $1.89 per basic share is confirmed, but without a named consensus source the exact size of the alleged miss cannot be independently checked from the cited company results. The same limitation applies to the roundup’s statement that revenue fell short of estimates: the release reports actual revenue, not analyst expectations. The roundup is the source of those estimate comparisons.

Why the first-half revenue comparison needs context
Revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2026, was $181,000, compared with $2.2 million in the first half of 2025. CollPlant said the earlier period included a $2.0 million development milestone payment from a former collaborator that did not recur in 2026. The first-half decline therefore reflects that prior-period milestone as well as the current revenue base; it should not be read as a like-for-like measure of recurring product sales. The company’s release explains the comparison.
Reverse split and share-per-share comparisons
CollPlant effected a 1-for-10 reverse share split on September 4, 2026. Its SEC-filed report says share and per-share amounts in the report were adjusted retrospectively. Accordingly, Q2 2026 and Q2 2025 per-share figures above are presented on that adjusted basis; older coverage using pre-split figures may not be directly comparable. The company’s SEC filing describes the retrospective adjustment.

Cash at quarter end and later financing proceeds
CollPlant reported $2.6 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026. Separately, it said warrant exercises in August and September 2026 generated approximately $5.2 million in aggregate proceeds. Those exercises occurred after the quarter ended, so the proceeds are not part of the June 30 cash balance. The Q2 release gives both figures and their timing.

What is included in the quarter
CollPlant describes its work as spanning plant-derived recombinant human collagen for regenerative medicine, including 3D bioprinting and medical aesthetics, as well as optical computing through LightSolver. The company’s release says the LightSolver acquisition closed after June 30, meaning LightSolver’s operating results are not included in the reported Q2 results. The release provides this timing context.
