ClubWPT can award cash and prizes through its sweepstakes tournaments, but only to entrants who qualify under the rules of a specific promotion, and the free-to-play poker games do not carry those prizes. Whether you can enter depends on your age, where you live, and where you are when you play. This review, based on ClubWPT’s and the World Poker Tour’s official pages as checked in early October 2026, explains the two ways to play, what the prize figures do and do not show, and what to confirm before you enter.
What ClubWPT is
ClubWPT is an online poker service associated with the World Poker Tour. It offers free-to-play poker and social games, plus a set of tournaments that offer sweepstakes prizes: VIP, Diamond and Super SATurdays events. The operator’s own materials describe these as separate parts of one service, and the distinction matters, because a reader who signs up for free poker has not thereby entered a prize tournament.
ClubWPT is not the same product as ClubWPT Gold, which is a separate service with its own currencies and rules. Everything in this review refers to ClubWPT only. The Gold service is covered briefly at the end.
The two ways to play
ClubWPT describes two routes. The WPT information page says that subscriptions grant access to the prize tournaments. ClubWPT’s homepage states “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY ON CLUBWPT” and points to its terms for the alternative way to participate. Read together, these mean that a paid membership is one route into prize play, not a universal requirement, and the free-to-play games are not where the advertised prizes come from.

| Feature | Free-to-play poker and social games | Prize tournaments (VIP, Diamond, Super SATurdays) |
|---|---|---|
| Prizes | Not the source of the promoted sweepstakes prizes | Cash or prizes for eligible entrants under sweepstakes rules |
| Currency | Play Chips | Tournament Points, which the operator says are used to enter tournaments |
| How to enter | Play in the free games | Subscription access per the WPT information page, or the no-purchase route in the current terms; this review did not confirm the step-by-step no-purchase process |
| Eligibility | 18 or older to join and play online games (ClubWPT homepage) | Set by each promotion: age, residence in listed states or countries, and compliance with promotion rules |
| Mobile access | Dedicated mobile app (WPT information page) | Mobile web browser (WPT information page) |
Currencies: Play Chips and Tournament Points
Play Chips are the currency for the free-to-play poker and social games, according to the WPT information page. Tournament Points are used to enter tournaments. The same page says Tournament Points cannot be purchased. The operator’s materials do not, in the material reviewed, explain every way Tournament Points are earned, so check the current terms if you plan to rely on them for entry.
Do not assume Play Chips convert into Tournament Points or into anything else. Neither ClubWPT source states a conversion rule.
Who can enter
ClubWPT’s homepage says users must be at least 18 to join and play online games. That is the baseline, not the whole picture. Individual promotions can set their own age thresholds, residence requirements and rules, and the terms index lists 2026 promotions that do exactly that.

We carry the largest selection of custom designed poker chips than any other brand. We don’t create one poker chip design and simply change out the center decal. Each poker chip has its own unique design using custom CNC machined molds to produce poker chips no one else can copy or design. This is why we are considered the top poker chip supplier for home poker chip games.
- Poker Chip Breakdown - 100pcs White, 100pcs Red, 100pcs Green, 50pcs Blue, 50pcs Black, 50pcs Purple, and 50pcs Yellow. This poker chip set is good for 5-8 players. We added 3 hinges instead of the standard 2 hinge design with keyless latches because we all know those key locking latches don't work.
- Versatile Poker Chips - Each chip has denominations in the center and around the chip. Wow all your friends with the best looking poker chips around. Show off your poker chip shuffling and flipping skills to intimidate the other players!
ClubWPT’s eligibility page says local law governs and that prohibited jurisdictions are excluded. The FAQ’s current list of places where the service is available names Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom, along with U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Those lists are volatile, and different official pages can show different scopes: one may refer to account access, another to free-to-play games, and another to prize play. Treat any list in this article as a snapshot, and check the live page before you enter.
The operator describes its model as lawful and “not gambling.” That is ClubWPT’s own characterization. It is not an independent legal ruling, and whether the model is lawful where you live is a question for local law.

Reading the prize figures
ClubWPT publishes several numbers. Each one answers a different question, and none of them tells you what you should expect to win.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- $100,000 in cash and prizes every month. This is an operator-promoted total across all prizes, shown on the current eligibility page (checked 2026). It is an aggregate pool, not a per-player figure or an expected return.
- $216.24 average winnings per ClubWPT winner in 2025. The homepage states: “In 2025, the average ClubWPT® winner was awarded $216.24 in winnings.” This is the operator’s own average for people who won. It does not state how many people won, the odds of winning, or the typical result for someone who enters.
- A $10,000 cash tournament example. The homepage shows a breakdown of $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for runner-up, and the remaining $6,500 across other places. It is a current promotional example, and the dates, availability and rules for that event can change.
The homepage also advertises weekly Diamond satellites. The published materials do not give entry odds for any of these events, and the advertised pool sizes should not be read as expected winnings.
Claiming a prize
ClubWPT’s prize eligibility page sets out what happens after a win. These points come from the operator and are not legal or tax advice:

ClubWPT promotes three membership tiers: VIP, Diamond and Super SATurdays. The homepage describes member benefits such as WPT television episodes, discounts and invitations to live events. The WPT information page mentions a 14-day VIP trial.
This review did not establish current membership prices. Check the live checkout before you commit, and read the trial terms and cancellation conditions there, since they are not confirmed here. ClubWPT and ClubWPT Gold are different services
ClubWPT Gold is described on its own WPT page, which discusses Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Those are not the same as ClubWPT’s Play Chips and Tournament Points. Do not compare the two services as if they used one set of rules.
| Item | ClubWPT | ClubWPT Gold |
|---|---|---|
| Free-to-play currency | Play Chips | Gold Coins (per the Gold WPT page) |
| Prize or entry currency | Tournament Points | Sweeps Coins (per the Gold WPT page) |
| Eligibility and availability | Set by ClubWPT’s homepage, eligibility page and promotion rules | Not covered in this review; see the Gold page |
Verdict for different readers
If you want to play poker for free with no prize expectations, the free-to-play games are a separate, low-stakes option that does not depend on your eligibility for a sweepstakes promotion. If you want to enter prize tournaments, the question is less about the advertised pool and more about whether you qualify, whether you can meet the documentation requirements, and whether a membership is worth its price at checkout. ClubWPT’s own figures show that most players are not winning large sums on average, and the operator does not publish odds that would let you estimate your own chances.
What this review could not confirm
The official pages reviewed do not establish current membership prices, the odds for any promotion, whether you personally qualify for a given promotion, or the expected value of entering. ClubWPT directs users to its current terms for eligibility, prize descriptions, odds and the no-purchase route. Those terms are the authoritative source for any exact figure or step, and they can change without notice.
The service, its rules and its availability by jurisdiction can change quickly. If you are reading this later than October 2026, check the live ClubWPT homepage, eligibility page and promotion rules before relying on any detail here.
The Bottom Line
ClubWPT offers free-to-play poker alongside prize tournaments that give cash and prizes to eligible entrants under sweepstakes rules. Eligibility is set by age, location and each promotion’s terms, so confirm all three on the live pages before you enter, and check the membership price and trial terms at checkout.
