Clash of Clans: Hide Enemy Village Obstacles During Attacks

To hide obstacles and decorations in an enemy village while attacking in Clash of Clans, enable the toggle in More Settings. The objects disappear a few seconds after the attack begins. Supercell describes this as an attack-view setting for defender villages—not a way to hide objects in your own village.

How to turn on the setting

1. Open Clash of Clans’ settings. The official instructions do not specify the initial tap or a platform-specific path.

2. In More Settings, find and enable the toggle for hiding obstacles and decorations in defender villages when attacking. Its exact on-screen label may vary; Supercell’s update note does not provide it.

3. Start an attack. The obstacles and decorations should disappear a few seconds after the attack begins.

What the setting changes

The toggle affects the view of the defender’s village during your attack. It does not remove obstacles, stash decorations, or change how your own village is displayed. The change also is not necessarily visible before the battle starts: Supercell says the objects disappear a few seconds after the attack begins.

Does the same setting work on iPhone and Android?

Supercell’s update note confirms the toggle is in More Settings, but does not give separate iPhone and Android directions or say whether the setting’s location differs between platforms. Look for it in the game’s current More Settings menu on your device; exact taps and labels cannot be confirmed from the official note.

Official feature note

Supercell’s “Get Ready for Ranked! – Update”, published 6 October 2025, says: “Added a toggle in ‘More Settings’ to hide Obstacles and Decorations in a defender Villages when attacking. Obstacles and Decorations will disappear a few seconds after an attack begins.” The note does not give an exact number of seconds.
