Track dependencies before starting a long search
Some objectives depend on earlier errands. For example, the route to the mayor’s island requires an admission card. The walkthrough’s early chain involves an Egyptologist, a papyrus from the library, and a librarian’s request for glasses; obtaining the card then leads into the ticket-money objective. Follow the task links instead of searching the whole town for the final item first.
Do residents’ errands as you meet them
Side tasks and mini-games can reward money and items needed later. Completing nearby requests while you are already in an area can reduce backtracking and prevent a later objective from stalling because you skipped an earlier reward.
