Citizen is adding two compact xC 30th-anniversary watches to its limited range, and they are easy to mix up. The ES9468-60D is a Super Titanium piece with an ice-crystal mother-of-pearl dial. The ES9431-51D is stainless steel with a lace-patterned mother-of-pearl dial and bezel. Both use lab-grown diamonds and the H060 Eco-Drive radio-sync movement, and each is limited to 1,200 pieces worldwide.
Neither watch is on sale yet. Citizen’s Japanese official store lists the ES9468-60D for November 5, 2026 and the ES9431-51D for December 3, 2026. Citizen’s September 9 announcement covered a different pair, the “Midnight Voyage” models ES9504-68E and EC1039-55E, which were released October 8. Those are not the watches discussed here.
Side-by-side specifications
The two models share a movement, a limit of 1,200 pieces and a set of lab-grown diamonds, but they differ in case metal, size, water resistance and dial design. All figures below come from Citizen’s Japanese official product listings for each model.

ES9468-60D: the titanium ice-world model
The ES9468-60D is the larger and more expensive of the pair. Its Super Titanium case and bracelet carry a Duratect Sakura Pink finish, which makes it the only one of the two with a colored case. Its 29.0 mm width and 9.1 mm thickness make it a substantial watch, and the 5-bar rating is the lower of the two, so it suits splashes and rain rather than water activity.

The dial is the centerpiece. Citizen’s product copy, in Japanese, describes the white mother-of-pearl face as having a delicate etched ice-crystal motif that creates depth like light entering ice. The domed sapphire holds a lab-grown diamond at its center, and additional lab-grown diamonds and cut parts sit at the hour markers.
ES9431-51D: the steel lace-veil model
The ES9431-51D is the smaller, thinner and less costly model, and it has the higher water rating. Its 25.0 mm stainless-steel case is 7.2 mm thick, with a sapphire crystal and 10-bar water resistance. The Duratect Platinum finish gives the case a silver-toned look, in contrast to the pink titanium.

The lace theme shows up in both the dial and the bezel. The bezel holds six lab-grown diamonds. A further diamond at the 9 o’clock position and three cut parts at 10 o’clock are arranged so that they subtly spell “30,” a nod to the anniversary. Citizen’s official description calls the design a veil-like theme that uses the texture of lace to express a wish to celebrate a milestone.
The shared H060 Eco-Drive radio-sync movement
Both watches use Caliber H060. It is powered by light through Citizen’s Eco-Drive system and receives time signals for Japan, China, Europe and the United States. Both also include a perpetual calendar, a date display, Direct Flight, 24-zone world time and Perfex.

These are Citizen’s stated figures, not independent measurements. Real-world accuracy and reserve depend on how often the watch receives a signal and how much light it sees.
Which one fits
- Choose the ES9468-60D if you want a larger, colored titanium case, the ice-crystal dial, and a diamond set in the sapphire, and you are comfortable with a 5-bar rating.
- Choose the ES9431-51D if you prefer a smaller, slimmer steel watch, the lower price, or a 10-bar rating for more water exposure.
