Chrome is reportedly working on a bulk-delete option for AI Skills, but the feature has not been confirmed as generally available. A checkbox in the browser’s Delete browsing data dialog would let users select Skills alongside other data types and remove eligible Skills according to a chosen time range. For now, the report says you can manage Skills individually at chrome://skills/browse.

What are Chrome Skills?

Chrome Skills are saved prompts that users can reuse for particular tasks with Chrome’s AI features, including Gemini in Chrome, according to Windows Report’s October 8, 2026 report. The report says Chrome already has a dedicated page for browsing and deleting Skills individually.

To manage them one at a time, enter chrome://skills/browse in Chrome’s address bar. The reported bulk-delete control is intended to add another option, not replace this individual management page.

How the reported bulk-delete control would work

Windows Report says Google is developing a Skills checkbox for Chrome’s Delete browsing data dialog. If implemented as described, the flow would be:

  1. Open Chrome’s Delete browsing data dialog.
  2. Choose a time range and select the Skills checkbox.
  3. Confirm deletion with any other data types you selected.

The report says the time range would be based on when each Skill was last updated. A shorter range would therefore target Skills updated during that period; All time would target all eligible user-created Skills. This describes a feature in development, not behavior confirmed in a released Chrome version.

Which Skills would be deleted, and what about sync?

According to Windows Report, the proposed action would delete user-created Skills, not first-party or enterprise-provided Skills. The report also says deletion may propagate to a user’s account and other devices if Skills sync is enabled. These details have not been independently confirmed by an official Chrome announcement.

The report says the checkbox would not be selected by default. It may appear when the Skills feature is enabled even if the profile contains no Skills.

Can you use it now?

The report describes the checkbox as under development; it does not establish a Chrome version, release date, supported platforms, region, or rollout schedule. The Chromium source result located for this topic shows general controls in the clear-browsing-data interface, such as a time-period selector and data-type controls, but does not verify the new Skills checkbox. See the Chromium browsing-data model source for that general interface context.

Do not assume that clearing browsing data currently removes Chrome Skills. Until the checkbox is confirmed in your version of Chrome, use chrome://skills/browse to review and delete Skills individually. Availability should be checked against official Chrome release information before relying on a bulk-delete workflow.
