Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is the stronger choice if you need 5G or prioritize the listed CPU specifications and reported benchmark results. UNISOC T7250 is a 4G/LTE platform with a different graphics and display feature set. Neither processor specification alone determines how fast or capable a particular phone will feel: the handset’s memory, storage, software, cooling, display, and network bands matter too.
How the processors differ
The clearest paper advantage for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is its CPU configuration: it has two Cortex-A78 performance cores running up to 2 GHz, alongside six Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.8 GHz. UNISOC T7250 uses two Cortex-A75 cores up to 1.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.6 GHz. The listed core types and maximum clocks favor Snapdragon, though actual phone performance varies by device.
| Specification | Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 | UNISOC T7250 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 2 × Cortex-A78 up to 2 GHz; 6 × Cortex-A55 up to 1.8 GHz | 2 × Cortex-A75 up to 1.8 GHz; 6 × Cortex-A55 up to 1.6 GHz |
| Manufacturing process | 6 nm, according to Qualcomm | 12 nm, according to UNISOC |
| Cellular platform | X51 5G modem; sub-6 GHz support | LTE, including Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink |
| Graphics | Adreno GPU; Notebookcheck identifies it as Adreno 619 | Arm Mali-G57 up to 850 MHz |
| Memory and storage support | Retail handset configurations depend on the specific phone | LPDDR4X; eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.1/2.2 support |
| Display capability | Up to FHD+ at 120 fps, according to Qualcomm | FHD+ at 60 Hz or HD+ at 120 Hz, according to UNISOC |
The process figures describe the manufacturers’ stated processes; they do not guarantee longer battery life. Likewise, supported memory, storage, and display capabilities are platform limits, not a promise that every phone using a chip will implement the fastest option.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDoes UNISOC T7250 support 5G?
No. UNISOC lists T7250 as an LTE platform, with Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink. Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 includes Qualcomm’s X51 5G modem and supports sub-6 GHz 5G. If 5G is a requirement, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 has the clear platform advantage, but confirm that the particular phone supports the bands used by your carrier and region.

What do the benchmark results show?
91mobiles lists higher results for Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in AnTuTu and Geekbench 6. These are the highest results recorded on devices running each chipset, based on real-world device testing; the pages do not establish a matched test setup. Treat them as reported device results, not a controlled chip-only comparison or a guaranteed score for a phone you buy.
| Benchmark listed by 91mobiles | Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 | UNISOC T7250 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu | 417,839 | 381,574 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 852 | 441 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,047 | 1,480 |
The benchmark pages were accessed in 2026. A score can differ with the phone, software, thermal conditions, and benchmark version, so it is more useful as a broad comparison signal than as a prediction of everyday speed.

Which chip is better for graphics and gaming?
The available specifications do not establish a definitive gaming winner. Qualcomm names an Adreno GPU, identified as Adreno 619 by Notebookcheck; UNISOC specifies a Mali-G57 running up to 850 MHz. GPU names and clock specifications alone do not tell you how a particular game will run, especially since handset cooling, resolution, memory, and software also affect performance.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 phone if you need 5G, or if the listed CPU configuration and 91mobiles’ reported results are priorities.
- Consider a T7250 phone if LTE is sufficient and the complete handset offers the features and price you want. Its supported LPDDR4X and storage interfaces do not mean every model uses the fastest supported option.
- Compare the actual phones before buying. Check RAM, storage type and capacity, display, battery, software support, price, and carrier-band compatibility. Those details can matter more to the experience than the chipset name alone.
For a concrete Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 device example, Notebookcheck identifies the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G as using this processor. That identification does not establish its current price or availability.
