The best Mubert alternative depends on the output you need: choose Suno for full songs and vocals, Beatoven.ai for mood-based background scores with stems, SOUNDRAW for adjustable instrumental tracks, or AIVA for composition controls such as MIDI. For a ready-made catalog or AI covers, Product Hunt also lists TemPolor and Singify by Fineshare. These are different kinds of tools, not interchangeable substitutes or a ranked list.
Which Mubert alternative fits your project?
Start with the deliverable, not a universal “best” tool. A video bed, a song with vocals, a composition you can edit, and a licensed catalog track call for different workflows.
| Tool | Best fit | What the available evidence says |
|---|---|---|
| Suno | Complete songs and vocals | Its pricing page lists song generation, editing and stem-related features across plans; rights and usage depend on plan. |
| Beatoven.ai | Mood-based background scoring | Product Hunt describes it as a background-score option with stems. |
| SOUNDRAW | Adjustable background music | The service presents creator and artist plans and says users can adjust energy and length. |
| AIVA | Composition-oriented work | AIVA describes style models, audio or MIDI influence uploads, editing and multiple export formats. |
| TemPolor | Finding tracks in a catalog | Product Hunt lists it as a royalty-free catalog option; that listing does not establish current licensing details. |
| Singify by Fineshare | AI covers | Product Hunt lists it for AI covers; consult the provider for current capabilities and rights. |
Product Hunt’s Mubert alternatives page is a discovery list, not an independently tested ranking. Its labels are useful for finding candidates, but they do not establish comparative quality, current entitlements, or licensing suitability.
What Mubert does, and why the distinction matters
Mubert’s official description says its workflow can use text, mood or genre, and image inspiration, and can produce tracks, loops, mixes, or jingles. It describes durations from seconds up to 25 minutes. See Mubert’s explanation of how AI music generation works. That range of inputs and formats makes it useful to compare alternatives by intended output and editing needs, rather than treating every AI music service as a direct replacement.
#1 Best Overall
- If you need a finished song with a vocal performance, look at a full-song generator such as Suno.
- If you need music under narration or video, prioritize duration, mood control, and whether stems are available.
- If you want to shape a composition using MIDI or influence material, inspect a composition-focused workflow such as AIVA.
- If you want to select from existing tracks, assess the catalog and its specific license rather than assuming a generator’s terms apply.
Alternatives by workflow
Suno: songs, vocals, and editing
Suno is the more relevant candidate when the goal is a complete song or vocals rather than a background layer. Its pricing page lists a Free tier with 50 daily credits and no commercial rights. The page displays Pro at $8 per month and Premier at $24 per month, with annual-billing savings noted; the paid tiers list commercial-use rights. Prices, credits, and features can change. Check the terms that apply to your account and the date the track is created before using it commercially.
SOUNDRAW: adjustable creator background music
SOUNDRAW positions its music for creator uses including videos and podcasts. Its page says users can adjust energy and length, and shows plans with different download allowances and formats. The pricing snapshot lists Creator at $16.99 monthly or $11.04 with annual billing; Artist Starter and Artist Pro have different prices and download allowances. These are displayed plan figures, not a guarantee of current pricing or a license for every project. Review the current plan details and license on SOUNDRAW’s official page.
Rank #2
AIVA: composition controls and MIDI
AIVA describes more than 250 styles, user style models, audio or MIDI influence uploads, track editing, and multiple file formats. Its plans differ in monetization and copyright language: the free tier is described as non-commercial, Standard as having limited monetization, and Pro as claiming copyright ownership for the user and full monetization. Those are vendor statements, not a legal determination for a particular release. Check the current terms for the selected plan at AIVA.

Beatoven.ai, TemPolor, and Singify: discovery candidates
Product Hunt identifies Beatoven.ai with mood-based scores and stems, TemPolor with a royalty-free music catalog, and Singify by Fineshare with AI covers. The listing does not provide enough evidence to compare current prices, features, or permitted uses. Confirm specifics with each provider before choosing a service or using its output.
Rank #3
Compare control, export, and rights before committing
Feature labels alone do not show whether a service will work for a particular project. Check these points against your deliverable:
- Output: Is the result a background bed, loop, jingle, full song, vocal track, or catalog selection?
- Control: Can you guide the result with a prompt or mood, edit its arrangement, use style models, or provide MIDI/audio influence?
- Workflow: Confirm maximum duration, stem availability, and the export formats you actually need, such as MP3, WAV, or MIDI. The feature summaries above do not establish every tool’s format list.
- Rights: Read the current license for the exact plan and use. “Royalty-free” or “commercial use” does not by itself establish permission for every client project, advertisement, app, game, or distribution channel.
- Capacity and cost: Check current credits, download limits, billing cadence, and any usage ceiling. Prices and allowances can change.
Vendor pages are the authority for each provider’s own terms, not independent legal analysis. If your intended use is commercially important, verify that the specific plan and license cover it before publishing or distributing the track.
