The CHiQ L32G7PG is a 32-inch HD smart TV with a 1366 × 768 resolution and Android 11. Its documented streaming and casting features suit basic TV viewing, but it is not a Full HD or 4K set, and CHOICE lists the model as discontinued. Published HDMI counts also conflict, so verify the exact unit and its availability before buying.
What the CHiQ L32G7PG offers
The L32G7PG is a compact television for a bedroom, kitchen or other space where a 32-inch screen is appropriate. CHOICE identifies the model as a 32-inch HD smart TV running Android 11. CHiQ’s Australian specification sheet is labelled L32G7P, a related model-family designation, rather than the exact L32G7PG suffix; its specifications should therefore be treated as family-sheet details, not proof that every L32G7PG variant is identical.
On that distinction, CHiQ’s L32G7P sheet lists a DLED panel, 60 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and HLG support, 200 cd/m² brightness, 3000:1 contrast, 178-degree viewing angles and an 8 ms response time. These are published specifications, not independent test measurements. They do not establish how bright the TV looks in a sunny room, how well it handles motion, or the overall picture quality. Is the resolution good enough?
The screen resolution is 1366 × 768 pixels, commonly described as HD. It is not 1920 × 1080 Full HD or 4K. CHOICE lists that resolution for the L32G7PG; CHiQ’s L32G7P sheet gives the same figure. CHOICE

For casual viewing at a typical distance on a small screen, HD may be adequate. If you sit close, watch detailed content, or plan to use the TV as a computer display, the lower pixel count is a meaningful trade-off: text and fine details will not have the same definition as on a Full HD or 4K screen. This is a practical implication of the resolution, not a measured comparison test.
Apps, Android and casting
Published documentation describes Android 11-era smart-TV features. CHiQ’s L32G7P sheet lists Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Google Play apps; National Product Review also describes built-in Chromecast and streaming apps. The L32G7P sheet lists 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. Those figures are specific to that sheet; they should not be assumed to describe every L32G7PG variant. Available specifications do not establish how responsive the apps are in everyday use.

Published HDMI counts disagree. CHiQ’s L32G7P sheet and CHOICE list three HDMI inputs, while Bing Lee lists two for the L32G7PG. CHiQ’s sheet specifies HDMI 1.4 and one USB 2.0 port for the L32G7P. Because of the discrepancy and model suffix difference, count the ports on the exact TV or confirm them in its manual before relying on a particular input total. Sound, mounting and dimensions
CHiQ’s L32G7P sheet lists two 8 W speakers and Dolby/DBX processing. These specifications do not establish measured loudness or sound quality. The same sheet gives a 200 × 200 mm VESA mounting pattern, but does not establish the required screw size or whether a wall mount is included. Check your mount’s VESA compatibility, weight capacity and fasteners before installation.
The L32G7P sheet gives dimensions of 725 × 85 × 425 mm without the stand and 725 × 230 × 480 mm with the stand, with a net weight of 4.2 kg. Confirm measurements against the exact unit if cabinet clearance or mounting fit is critical.

Availability and buying checks
CHOICE labels the L32G7PG discontinued and displays A$399 on its page. That displayed amount is not a verified current selling price, and a retailer product page does not confirm that stock is available. - Resolution: decide whether HD is sufficient or whether Full HD would matter at your viewing distance.
- Smart platform: confirm support for the apps and casting features you actually use.
- Inputs: verify the number and type of HDMI ports on the exact unit.
- Placement: check stand dimensions or the 200 × 200 mm VESA pattern against your installation.
- Purchase terms: confirm current price, stock, warranty and returns rather than relying on an old listing.
Verdict
The CHiQ L32G7PG is best viewed as a basic, compact HD smart TV, not a high-resolution screen or a model with independently established picture, sound or app-performance results. Its Android 11-era streaming features may meet straightforward viewing needs, but the discontinued listing, uncertain current stock and conflicting HDMI counts make it important to verify the particular set before purchasing.
